  • Kuroda and Hayao, gods of SF3

  • The fact that this match took place on Hugo's stage makes it that much better.

  • 0:05 Hugo:Im number one!

  • how...in...the ....f

jg4.bei team legend atl/ cipe folk

  • amazing...... simply hard beyond hard...

  • Meow.

  • I wonder what the grade was.

  • daigos gona be pissed wen he finds out that he didnt have to parry the whole super lol

  • Daigo-tastic!

  • Wow, that is pretty fucking insane. Major respect for playing Hugo so amazingly well.

  • Now THIS is the greatest Street Fighter match ever.

  • Pretty cool song, I think it's the only SFIII song I like so far.

  • Hayao's Hugo was about to be the first lower tier character to win this world tourney, although I forgot which one it was. The only four characters to have won said tournament are Yun, Chun Li, Makoto and Ken. All of them top tiers. I think this says enough of Hayao's true skill.

  • @qqquasar

Probably SBO. Hayao came pretty close to winning it with Kuroda.

  • @l3ts9o It was with kuroda effectively in 2005 i think during SBO and got disqualified in semi finals... but we have to mention that kuroda OCVs all the teams they comfront, NTLDR justin wong an ortiz..

  • =O

  • This is kinda disappointing ONLY because ppl who don't know how hard this is to do will never appreciate it

  • HOLY

    MOTHER

    OF

    FUCK!

    ...Daigowho?

  • HOLY CRAP

WHY DOESNT THIS HAVE LIKE 8 MILLION VIEWS

    SCREW DAIGO

  • @GojiGuy Why the fuck would this get 8 million views? Was this a championship match? Was money on the line here? Oh, that's why -- casual matches should get as much props as Grand Finals at Evolution.

    Stay free.

  • @NaziArabianJew haha chill out dude its a game. And you basically proved my point. This guy shows as much as if not more skill and the only reason this video isnt as widespread is because A) his name isnt daigo or Jwong and B) it wasnt a finals match in a tournament or anything like that.

  • @NaziArabianJew wow, do you enjoy blowing Daigo everyday ? jeez

  • @NaziArabianJew

Yo man imma let you finish but Japanese players show 10x more skills playing a casual than a grand final in any U.S majors

  • I can't stop watching this. Way too fucking good! Yo, I'm fucking crying right now... oooh fuck man... OOoooooHH!! AAaaaah!! It's sooo.... b-b-b-beautiful...

  • I clicked, I came, I saw, I gasped, I lol'd, I cried... Amazing.

  • First round was absolutely terrifying. I would not want to be Umezono at that moment.

  • Still one of my favorite matches. Heh heh

  • learn to count with hugo in german XD

  • >Googles 'Daigo'

    >Googles 'Hayao'

lol, I guess all the dick riding really is in this video.

  • HOLY SHIT, that's impressive.

  • Roshihikari, Hayao, and Kuroda are my favorite players in 3s.

  • @Thomahawk08 HELL YEAH xD

  • Lol at people thinking Daigo was on Kurodas level back when he played 3s. Daigo was really not THAT good. He certainly was never a strict 3s only player like Hayao,Boss,KO,Kuroda etc.

  • I would love to see Hayao and Daigo go a few rounds. That would be the most EPIC MATCH/MOMENT in SF history!

  • holy shit the finish was amazing

  • Pros between Daigo's and Hayao's awesome parrying finish

-Daigo had completely parried through all of Chun Li's Super Art

-Daigo had finished with a fantastic combo that took off a great deal of life

-Daigo had done it in the middle of a tournament

-Daigo had also done much more before that fantastic finish whilst he was at very low health.

-Hayao had done Hugo's ultra, which is, I believe, I double 360 motion, in the middle of parrying Chun's ultra.

    -Hayao uses Hugo.

    Hayao wins for me!

  • @darkspirit1973 16 frames for a 720 motion, nough said.

  • @darkspirit1973 Daigo barely won his match. Hayao shut this Chun Li out, with a character many tiers BELOW her. Playing a tournament quality Hugo is an art, and this guy has played in plenty; go look it up. There's even tournament footage of Hayao playing Umezono.

  • @subjugatedcereal understandable, but wong and daigo are 2 of the worlds best, and each deserves their own respect

this videos pretty beast and so is the evo moment

  • I love hugo and I have to say hayao is not to be screwed with when playing as hugo.

  • awesome finish

  • People forget that Hayao doesn't face pushovers like most American players are.To do such a feat against players a the highest level takes much skill and is far from easy. Don't insult Hayao by saying otherwise.

  • Comment removed

  • Phuck!!!

  • BURN SCUMBAG ARRGHH!

  • kk, no doubt was that better than daigo's full parry on chun li's ulti. Hugo FTW :3

  • wow! this was even more amazing than daigo's parry at evo

  • @ReSe2k no it wasn't to me it looked played out for somereason, daigos was much more crazy, and the way he parried looked much cooler than someone using their stomach

  • Don't you know?

    Hayao has Gegas button

  • @stimp313

Get off of Daigo's dick this is much better.

  • Pure pwnage reversal skill at the end, I'd like to see Daigo try and survive that.

  • Hah! Hah! Hah! 'ey! 'ey!' Hah!

  • That was... just... AMAZING !

  • god・・

  • to this day, this match is one of my all time favorites haha. Hayao was the reason I started playing Hugo. I actually did the exact same thing against a Chun player at the arcade and left the spectators speechless. Thank you Hayao. hahaha

  • @YuenYun One of my favs too.

  • ooooo scary 720 in middle of parrying a sa o_o don't want play against him

  • Orr please! I could do that when I ustah drill this game. If I drilled it now I probably still could!

  • I love the music to this stage! :)

  • hahaha take THAT daigo!

  • Hayao is probably one of the sexiest players I've ever had the pleasure to see, This match brings me unbelievable joy. Oh Hayao, don't ever change.

  • Didn't hear the "let's go Justin!" in this video. XD

  • estupro.

  • Hayao shitted on Umezono

  • @monkeyman212 yes yes he did several times

  • jesus that was epic

  • oh what the fuck at the ending...wow

  • Wooooow

  • He's number ONE!

  • very well anticipated by hayao

  • Oh, Umezono, did you learn nothing from Justin/Daigo 1?

  • First of all it was a joke.

Second of all me "shutting my mouth" is easy to do since I don't have to open it to TYPE anything you mildly-retarded amoeba.

Third, and most importantly, go find a fire and die in it.

  • That is pretty god damned beastly.

  • hayao owned daigo on this video!

  • I dont know why people thumbds downed Caiorenner88, think this is better then Daigo lil stunt cause the Hugo did the 720 motion in middle of the super art!!!

  • @JaySkuh hell yeah dude, its much harder than jumping and usin frickin shippu! HUGOS A BEAST

  • Overall this match was much more difficult. Hugo alone winning makes this a bigger accomplishment than Daigo vs. Wong.

  • Yo Hayao I'm really happy for you, and I'mma let you finish, but Daigo's had the best parry of all time.

  • @houou100 Yo Houou, I'm really happy for you, and I'mma let you finish, but Hayao is the best 3rd Strike player of all time.

  • @JaySkuh That's what I'm saying. People made a big deal of Daigo parrying Chun li's super against Justin. Justin is shit. There's a number of things he could of done. But no, he did the hottest trick in the book, not to mention the distance he did it from. Nuff good 3rd strike players can parry that super, this guy is a perfect example.

  • @nastynas9000

RIGHT?!?!He did it so far it was the easiest read in the book, if your a pro and your living off of a game, you can be damn sure you can fucking parry

  • @nastynas9000 Hayao is considered to be one of the best Third Strike players, in the world! you cant just say hes "nuff good". The parry part most top players can perform but doing a 720 in a split of a second do require GREAT skill. And yeah I agree, Daigo did get to much credit for hiss parry.

  • @JaySkuh hell yea that was maddd skill

  • @JaySkuh

    Cant lie man.

Hayao is fucking amazing with hugo. I actually forgot all about hugo XD

  • @JaySkuh Deff It Was Better

  • @JaySkuh I'm pretty sure he had to defile a couple Laws of Physics to do that....

  • @JaySkuh u dont actually do full 720....

  • man i think this match is better than daigos

  • wow, sick sick ending

  • godlike parry!

  • 1:33 "lets go justinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn"

  • goodshit but really any decent hugo player can tell you that a 720 off a parry is pretty much free

  • Comment removed

  • @frenzii3s Clarify your standards for 'decent', please? Top 5 in the world, maybe?

  • @ooogooman no, dont be stupid. Its really not that hard. Practice it first before you make a "top 5 in the world" comment

  • Hayo's skills was just on point.

  • O M G just awesome parying combo with 720 without any jump !

  • I love Hugo. And Street Fighter III.

  • LETS GO JUSTIN!!!!!

  • SF III 3S is so intense...

    Best fighting game ever.

  • They call him 880 because that's how many degrees he can spin in the time it takes for a normal man to 360.

  • EINS.....ZWEI....DREI!

  • whenever i watch this its always amazing :)

  • Never try to win like that on good players like Hayao.

  • That was actually a very good idea on Umezono's part. He probably should have done EX kikoken too to throw off parry timing, but really, it was the best strategy. That's like saying you shouldn't try to beat a good player.

  • *applause* for HAYAO!

  • 1:34 to the end was dirty

  • Hayao is humanity's heroe.

  • Chun Li players never seem to learn what tends to happen when they go for a random sa2 chip damage finisher...

  • As josepep pointed out....

    "Finish him Justin!!!!"

  • 1:32 O.o

    Nice skills

  • einz, zwei, drei, hell...

  • let´s go Justin!

  • to know the 8 parries then 720, damn

  • dkblade...obviously your an idiot...the longer the distance...the easier it is to parry...a point blank range...it is a lot harder...but i'm sure your going to tell me some stupid shit like you can parry that easily or blah blah....you talk too much dkblade...and i seen you play already....u have a LONG way to go....come to EVO this year....let's money match....SPANISHJAP...look for me there

  • from distance, it is not hard to parry the super.....that is easy...try doing it around sweep distance or on activation after genei jin...check out pyrolee vs afm chunli...that is harder

  • I dunno about you guys.....but for me, double 360 + p (WITHOUT jumping) is MUCH harder to do than qcf (x2) + p or kick....just look again at 1:33 onwards when he pulled off the Gigas after parrying.

Besides...it requires more balls to use Hugo compared to say....Ken or Chun Li

So Daigo and Hayao are up there in my respect list (as a gamer only)...but obviously, it's not everyday you see a good Hugo player.

  • inputting the super art command isn't really the hardest part about a parry, to say the least

  • standing 720 after parrying 8 hits...and thats not hard?

  • try reading my post again, maybe this time, try understanding it, too.

  • Yah its hard to pull off 720 off the bat..but when you parry something or red parry your pretty much locked in on the ground. or wake up 720, you should check out sakura (ryu) vs Hugo (kuroda) oh man red parry then 720 its crazy

  • Someone doesn't understand the game.

  • holy shit! that ending was amazing. definitely on the same level as the Daigo comeback.

  • Just curious why people are all "OMG DAIGO PARRIED CHUN LI SA2!!! EEEEEPIC!" but I don't hear the same praise/worship for what Hayao did on 1:33 onwards?

IMO, I find that MORE difficult than Daigo's comeback against J. Wong...

Don't get me wrong. Daigo AND Hayao are good players...just curious to see that Hayao doens't see much love compared to Daigo...

  • Who fully parried it first? Diago or Hayao?

  • I guess it's because Daigo's feat was more publicly known, and the crowd in the video made it ten times more epic than it already was.

  • yeah....I'm an idiot coz I failed to realize that Umezono's Chun Li SA2 is easier to parry than Justin Wong's Chun Li SA2...

  • you are right, this is harder than daigo's one. damn parrying the first part of chun li's super then standing 720 .. EPIC!

  • FINALLY...someone who understands my original question...."How come little love for Hayao?" :D

  • You saw Rose in this video? And lag? lol ok.

  • i seriously LMAOed to your comment lol

  • he can do 720 standing..its uncanny

  • Actually doing a standing 720 isn't that hard if you buffer it mid parry or block. One of my favorite things to do actually is go hugo with gigas breaker, wait for my opponent to attempt a big move block it, and mid block buffer the 720 so I immediately go from block to gigas breaker. It can make it near impossible to dodge. That's not to say Im anywhere near a great hugo, it's just really fun to do and not all that hard with a bit of practice.

  • @texanwag

I know what you mean, but technically what you're describing isn't a standing Gigas, it's still just a buffered Gigas. A standing Gigas is exactly that - a Gigas performed cleanly with no easy buffers.

(Technically a standing Gigas [or "Tachi Gigas"] is still a buffer, but it's done too quickly to notice. You perform a VERY fast 540-degree motion, which means you rotate through a full 360 which automatically includes a superjump motion, but cancel the SJ startup frames to Gigas.)

  • It's harder to do a standing tachi gigas breaker while parrying chun li's super.

  • No it's easy, you can buffer the first 360 in the parry.

Hard is to SUCEED in the parry...

  • 1:35 t the end is pure epic lols

  • iunno... if you've seen the entire diago vs justin wong battle it's pretty obvious diago was messing around. he's not even moving when justin is bouncing around. whatever... i don't really care either way.

as far as this vs diago's parry i must say i didn't expect him to do it in the middle of her super. it's hard enough to do the 720 but in such time restraints... i'm just impressed he didn't lose his cool :D

  • Pretty sure this is more impressive then anything Daigo's done in his 3s career.

  • You're a joke kid.

Justin Wong is great at fighting games. Terrible at 3s. Same goes with Daigo.

He just happened to press forward when Wong choked and mid screen sa2 for the chip damage win.

Fanboys make me lawl. Use your head and learn to play the game, then you'll see that it's really not that spectacular.

  • I'd rather not have you on my friendlist, mouthpieces are annoying.

But since we're discussing 3s, hop on GGPO or 2DF. I'm up for it.

    Same username.

  • I'm not talking about mics, I'm talking about little brats that can't keep their mouths shut.

And besides, you don't even know if I'm on the 360 or PS3.

And to top it off, I'm guessing you're a generic Ken player. Anyway, if you want to get spanked that badly, my GT is the same as my user.

I hope you're not a scrub, if so I'm sure I'll get alot of hate mail / shit talk about Abel being cheap.

  • Lawl, a sagatfagot.

    And you call Abel cheap.

You're more of a scrub then I thought.

    You're not even worth playing.

  • Whoever said I forfeit?

I said you're not worth playing. Didn't say I wasn't going to play you. You're just like every other Sagat player on the internet.

No skill, no brain, all talk.

Please, make fun of mid / low tier more! It makes you sound oh-so-smart.

I suggest you go watch some more anime porn and quit proving how stupid you are. Act your age.

  • No kidding. Plz duel this clown and capture it so we can see it on YT

  • teirs are for queers

  • did you guys add each other/fight yet? i wanna see this
