Hey. A long time ago I beat Reptile with a double flawless and fatality and Then I fought this weird green blob guy with similar moves to reptile in the pit and he destroyed me in a few seconds. People ripped this game pretty good when it came out back in the day but I liked it nonetheless. The graphics were excellent and sound ; very close to the arcade, so what if there was no blood? I actually liked Sub Zero's fatality better in this game. They said the controls were off a little. My only gripe was Reptile in this game was slower than he should have been.

in 1992-93 there wasn't much choice. Nintendo always was and always will be a family system so the blood and guts weren't going to be acceptable for the SNES.

Sega had no such limitations but the sound system was so miserable it hardly even resembled the original game.

forgot to mention that ONLY you can fight him if you see shadows on the moon,an also forgot about No blocking during the 2 rounds in the pit. After those 5 conditions accomplished,you will be able to fight that green freak

@SebaOutbreak That only applies for the Arcade Version if I remember correctly. You only have to get a double flawless and do a fatality on the bridge to fight him on the console versions. It’s still a good thing that you posted this comment to help other people find Reptile on the arcade machines

@jorban123 The Arcade and Genesis versions you had to have something fly past the moon, and then get a double flawless/fatality. The SNES version was the only one you didn't need anything to fly past. Also noted, the SNES version is the only one where Reptile is acknowledged as "Reptile". In the Arcade/Genesis version, it just says "Scorpion" when you fight him.

actually in the arcade version you had to defeat him twice with a flawless victory for both fights and use a fatality. only problem was certain characters couldn't do fatalatiles on him. reason why was becuase you cannot block while fighting reptile and certain characters fatalities required you to block. so there that's how you'd get him. he would appear in the top center of the screen

the acid spit allows yu to rapid fire it, or atleast faster than others attaks. with the slow ball yu can follow through with a bunch of combos and it does initial damage. yu can also turn invisible with reptile, hes so much fun to play with.. im not a nerd..

4. Shit has to fly passed the moon which only happens like every 40th game on the pit
