why the fuck do you people care about these jackoff's bragging about what they waste their money on? I'm betting they haven't spent half as much money as what they are rapping about. these are fake M.C.'s to me. rapping about shit.
Baby was a real ass nigga tho...back in them days Baby was puttin in work in Uptown so I mean even tho he was wack most of the shit that nigga was spittin was true that dude was makin money
The reason I felt like Baby's verse should have been a Hip-Hop Quoteable is because there was ABSOLUTELY NO ONE in 1998 rapping about Ballin on the same level as Baby. Fast forward to today, and listen to these new rappers, it would still be hard to top Baby's verse. period.
No disrespect to Bun-B, he's one of THE best rappers, period. But the title of the song is 'Ballin' you dipshit. And if you listen to Baby's verse, he cleverly breaks down how he spent over 10 MILLION DOLLARS on cars and merchandise. Bun-B only mentions his diamonds shine, he bought the bar in a club, and he got a couple hookers on his tour bus.
I never listened to this song as if Baby was competing against Bun-B, but if he was, Baby won.
