  • 3:24 but not a good bet for quality/price ...movie-video games always suck... And they forgot 2 ratings : AE (adults and kids), AO (adults only) but that one is pretty rare.

  • @Poodleinacan Thanks for pointing that out. Probably about time for us to update this one. 5 years old!

  • @DadLabs yea...probably.

Now,on my opinion on violent video games...When I was younger,I played some violent games under the supervision of my parents..but if we compare game graphics from around 2000(I was 8)and today...well today the graphics are way more life-like than before..so when I'm gona be a dad(not for now, because I'm still studying),if my kid wants to play a violent game, well I could just make him play a game I used to play when I was his age..but there's also great classic E games

  • @DadLabs Also, you can research on the upcoming consoles...

Sony's PSPvita (portable), Wii 2, WiiU (portable)

And previous ones that are still sold...

PS3 (well, when you did the video, the PS3 wasn't released yet, and was expensive at release...600$.....now it's about 250$ ), and others...

  • @Poodleinacan Excellent suggestion. Now we just need to get review consoles!

  • And there's A (for adult) these games contain porn! =D

  • Shrek 2 for X-Box.

    Oh my god. Nostalgia.

  • My dad's not comfortable with video games period. I'm nearly 21, old enough to have M games (which I have along with a 360 which I got just days ago). He has no game intrest or experience (or capabilities, trust me). He won't let me play, despite the fact that I have a job I do well at, a car I take care of, I exercise, and (in my opinion) manage my money pretty well. Another problem is that I'm in no position to move out any time soon.

  • @HEIGHTSIXFIVE Would he rather you just sit and watch TV? Video games are entertainment. You should be allowed to play responsibly, IMHO. Living at home can be frustrating.

  • @DadLabs Violence is his biggest issue. I really don't go for games that have sex or anything like that, and I always check into games before I buy them so I know what I'm getting. And I prefer games that involve "killing" for good reason (i.e. Halo games involving killing aliens to save the world. Or Call of Duty/Medal of Honor involving killing in the world wars.) Although I do like assassin games too (i.e. Assassin's Creed games or Starwars Bounty Hunter). My dad and I just dont agree on it.

  • Just keep in mind that it's not all Disney and Nintendo for kids.

  • (Ao) would be the rating for games with sex in them, (M) would be only aloud sexual situations and partial nudity.

  • I Love this Video and also I checked out your Channel. Very interesting! If you need any help getting this Video and your Channel exposed to were it is top in all the search I found this site called tubeviews.(net) that has took my breath away. I'm working on my 4th Channel now, this one I just made. My Videos are getting so many hits now. Check it out and keep in touch.

This video is crazy, I love it!

  • Episode is really funny, can be used as actual advice in entertaining children at an appropriate age level.

  • Whats ur views on the wii

  • You are totally right about the 'get into their world', the problem with most parents is that they do not understand the gaming culture and therefor banish it. It's 2008 and things have changed, parents should look into that instead of the easy way and ignore it. I like your view on gaming/children. =)
