  • FIRE THEM ALLLL!!!!!!!!!

  • BOOOO!

  • WOOHOO!! I AM VIEWER 2,000,000!!!

  • IM THE 2.000.000 VIEWER FUCK YEAH

  • I don't think that's going to be cost effective

  • duke nukem 3D "devastater" comes to mind

  • it is waronfare

  • Chuck Testa!!!!! 2:51

  • Quite a good idea, but it will only prove to be useful if used in a small battlefield. Larger scale battlefields would require the usual artillery.

  • the future of warfare = peace

  • Faster way to murder people, cool!

  • @Watchdawg go cry somewhere else

  • @euroschlucker Not crying, just telling the truth. People like you will never learn until someone brings it to your doorstep, snob.

  • @TheAlexagius setting up 10000 mines takes a week and a lot of manpower, setting up that gun takes 5 minutes. and a crew of 2-3 but still I agree with you It's showy tech not sure if it won't get adopted tho

  • wtf!!!!

  • 2:00

  • 2:01 - just for lulz

  • how is it the future? its one weapon sure its area denial but fairly obvious area denail that could be spotted by plane lay down 10000 mines no one knows till they step on one its all showy tec thet never gets adopted like the xm8 or that 25 mm rifle

  • @TheAlexagius fucker, ever heard of camo?

  • @bait28 fucker is a comlempent so thanks but cammo? heard of infra red? can see the heat signiture and get it with something like a drone

  • @TheAlexagius there's no signature when it's not firing...

  • @bait28 and this is basicly a hude mortar mines are superiour as you need no active men its not obviuos iand it makes them slow so you can attack them or resuply and retreat

  • @TheAlexagius this thing sets up faster then mines...

  • @bait28 so? you need a n active crew to man mines dont and in action this can easily be spotted by a drone

  • @TheAlexagius the idea is it's a last minute solution for when it's needed within 10 minutes. this is around the size of a kitchen table and in a good setup is rather hard to spot. so stop ripping on the ideas of engineers.

  • @bait28 stop ripping? its critisizing if i was ripping i'd be saying things like this ideas so shit even you mamma wont fuck it, that'dbe a first, which is nothing to what i'm saying, its 40mm so wont beat mortars for power, and proably costs way more, and an air strike or a normal mortar will do the job just as well, if people are never critised they dont inprove, so critisism is good.

  • @TheAlexagius There we go. now i can agree with you. I'm saying instead of just saying it's a bad idea, say what could make it better. I'm thinking it could be broken down in size a little bit. instead of this one big unit, 2 or 4 smaller ones, maybe longer range.

  • Something tells me that this is not rifled...some of the grenades were tumbling in mid-air.

  • The best thing about MetalStorm is it gives "area denial" without the use of mines. A area can effective be mined without anything being left in the field.

  • Futer is going be more electronic warfer then mechanic.

  • i like this one

  • dear santa...

  • @aistis789 thanks for my new gun and ...

sry that i ´ve shot your motherfucking ass out of your slide

    in love your keksinflames

  • man i could play some ridiculous street fighter with that panel!

  • Darpa? more like Derp derp derpa

  • People the reason why there not going off is cause there dummy grenades

  • It costs $100,000 to fire this weapon....for 12 seconds. BWAHAHAAAA!

  • shouldnt grenades go boom? kinda cheesy, more like a nerf laucher

  • @precipitate1978 They're firing dummies.

  • make it play mario theme =)

  • future of artillary not warefare in genral

  • These guys could take the fun out of sex.

  • de-sabot!

  • Live Fire #2 sounds like the open scene from Miami Vice...

  • Needs to mobile with auto reload.

  • Why the fuck are we going back to 19th century artillery technology?

  • Those evil bastards at DARPA are keeping your dumb ass free.

  • You have Mexico, Canada and the Pacific and Atlantic oceans as buffers, except for Hawaii, the USA pretty much keeps itself free (note that i'm not saying that "free" is the same as "free from missiles") because of where it is.

  • @DerFeindr well we are the only country currently out of range of land launched icbms submarines are different but we are developing a system that dissables the nuke and makes it just a falling piece of steel with hydrogen and uranium in it

  • @crazypat523 I know my missiles man, what I meant is that the USA doesn't have to actively fight for its freedom everyday.

  • @DerFeindr we do someone always threatens our expansion because the americas are our territory and most of the pacific and other parts of the world every day people go to war out of fear

  • @crazypat523 First of all, I hate when people say the US is "fighting for our freedom", because that only happened in the revolutionary war. Now its just america pisses off people while trying to "help" them, then once they attack we blame everything on them.

And also, why would a nuke have both uranium and hydrogen in it?

  • @crazypat523 you sound like an idiot.

  • 46 grenades? That's like 46 guys all shooting off their M203 launchers at the same time! :O

  • @StellarRecreations Except it's probably more expensive...

  • 500th dislike :)

  • Doesnt look like it has alot of battlefield use

  • This thing could take out a freaking tank in 3 seconds.

  • @Dragunov1185 I'm not an expert by any means, but I'm pretty sure it's designed for a strictly anti-personnel role.

  • This will be the noob tube if a COD: Future Warfare ever comes out, the term "noob" will be taken to a whole new level. Noob tubing can end some matches in less than a minute, imagine if a whole team of noobs use this.

  • aussie design?

  • @koringn yes all auzy :)

  • @koringn Yeah aussie design, was looking for funding, US got involved, and press releases stopped. That was a few years ago now....

  • Outstanding engineering demonstration. No bells and whistles. A clear demo of the loading, firing and reload sequence taking place.

  • so that thing can hold 96 grenades, and shoot em fast as hell :P not sure how accurate it is but imagine seeing 96 grenades comin down on u :P

  • Germany never gave up the fight for world control. With the US stuck in Afghanistan and Irak wasting its wealth making new enemies, Germany made a large leap forward. Having lost two open wars to become the dominating power on earth, Germany reverted to the tactics used before 1914 and between1918-1939: Infiltrating other countries with snitchers, manipulating them and draw as much wealth as possible from these victims of German greed. My brother Markus Bott was murdered because of our homepage

  • needs more tubes. destroy WBTA, worst place ever.....

  • 240,000 round per minute that just great. But its a pain to reload each barrel with in seconds of firing.

  • @karthikbans well its clearl;y faster easier less trenuous to relaod a metalstorm launcher than say a howitzer for example. A few seconds to change out barrells enable fire vs a minute and half to change out 30-60 pound artilery shells re aim and fire. When you talk about the ammount of ordanence the metal storm can out down range it leaves conventional artilery systems in the dust. Imagine an abrahms but instead of a turret on the top it is covered with these lauchers...need i say more.

  • sounded like phil collins drum solo...

  • i hope these land on justin beiber

  • rapid reload my ass

  • Now they just need a Dye Rotor on this puppy

  • @vv0mp lmao well said.

  • EPIC NOOBTUBE!!!

  • by the time your doing that 1:40 the aliens would have taken the world

  • In about 50 years... there will be no victims.. Just fags controlling to fight for em. Ull actually get paid for playing.

  • I want to see all barrels shooting at once for five minutes!

  • it's funny how he says disable

  • @hachouma23 sounds like the guy from operation flashpoint lol

  • sounds like a fart

  • come on more than 100 years of fire power and this is it.

  • @cportmigo What do you mean "this is it"? Do you understand how much damage this thing is capable of?

  • @cportmigo Try more like 500 years

  • the ultimate spud gun....... the end is nigh....

  • this is how n00b tubes will look like in 2032....except that they will be able to be attached to weapons.

or they will be noobtubes for boats

  • you should put a huge ass silencer on every barrel. lol

  • More*

  • They just come up with fancier and mote expensive ways to just bomb a designated area. What an inefficient P.O.S.

  • If it takes three men 21 seconds to fire and reload 4 rounds.... That's not exactly rapid-reloading.

  • It's raining grenades!!!

  • and im not interested in seeing the impact of the grenades? lol... seriously, FUCK YOU

  • Not so fast if you lay all 46 rounds downrange and you have to load all 24 slippery snakes in.

  • @KF5EUT When the metal storm is fielded it will be mounted on top of vehicle and when reloading is required it will raise the barrels to 90 degrees and loading will be done in a similar way to loading the m-207's 6-shot big brother. the field model only has 4 to 8 barrels. Another configuration puts them in the raptor's missile bay all pointing straight down, and will work be used like a cluster bomb, but apparently much closer in.

  • (reloading)

    Ready to fire

  • Ready to fire!

    Enabled!

    Fire!

    Disabled!

  • What do you shoot? Soda cans?

  • Watch that shit jam while it shoots .... lol

  • @kenneth12345678910 no moving parts means no jamming.

  • @cloudroxman099 Mmmm, I wouldn't trust it.

  • not bad considering it is made by aussies. We do more than surf in this country we also apparently make the world fastest machine gun.

  • Fake

  • @awsomesumo5 sir how is this fake

  • @DeathLoveable Don't hold it against him he is just a troller who never heard of metal storm and needs to look up some more videos on it.

For awsomesumo5: The metal storm system is an array of barrels that you load a tube that can contain as many rounds as the size allows and uses magnetic rail like technology instead of conventional means. As a result it can fire hundreds of rounds in a matter of seconds. To aim you would treat it the same as artillery. Can fire slugs or grenades.

  • Future warfare i think not. Looks like a Nebelwefer.

  • Come free with every russian happy meal

  • where can i get that and how much

  • man... who's dick u gota suck to get hold of 1 of them?

  • microwave weapons are todays special treat. Lovely. aholes! they think brutality means they're strong, it actually is a sign of fear a lethal weakness. anyone can destroy something masterful, but can they create anything of meaning with such hollow cold and callous calculations.

  • I wanna see the grenades go off.

  • Lol..Aussie Aussie Aussie

  • why isnt this in call of duty or halo....

  • @chaosPANDA141 serious question?

  • you get 1 of these in every russian happy meal

  • he needs slight of hand pro

  • @NoobsOfRedemption fucking video game freak

  • lol the intro scared me :P

  • did you get an enviromental impact study done? you better of cause i ll sue if you didnt, aclu mother f er

  • When i saw that 4-shot Rapid (Yeah right) reload demonstration I just laughed. I would love to see them act so slowly and professional during heat. "Enable" and "Disable" would turn into "Load Load Load Load" and "Fire, Get Down, Reload Dammit". Very nice demonstration by the way, just my imagination running wild. Thx xox

  • @ProEscapers If this were used in actual combat, all you'd need is one fully loaded firing of it. With that many nades in one spot you'd level anything withing a few hundred feet of the target area. Plus, if it were used in live combat situations, they'd have cover fire or something to turn the attention away from a reload sequence allowing at least a little bit more time.

  • @ProEscapers im sure if the wep is released and ends up being used and taken in by military it would have some sorta reloading mechanism or way to reload faster...also if you think about it thats not rlly true.... most MG's amunition are linked....and usualy takes a bit to reload...and im sure it would also be used as some sort of mortar fire...

  • Reload sequence seems like it takes way to long just to get 4 rounds from 1 tube down range...I'd stick with the Mk19.

  • it came of future weopons!

  • OUR GRENADES WILL BLOT OUT THE SUN!

  • c'mom mannn,,,,, I wanna see it all firing.

    enable, disable, bullshit

  • That is a f*********g music instrument!

  • Haha cute

  • can it play crysis?

  • P.s. our country is one of thoes assholes to

  • Yes because we need better ways to kill eachother don't get me wrong I understand the concept of a weapon just hate the fact that assholes nations around the world prevoke us to use them

  • @LegEndone1 provoke.

  • To ease the burdens of life, we must spend money on research and have the time and assets to create medicines, etc. Yet to have the peace to do so, we must also guard against those who believe not in peace and we also must spend money to safeguard our security and assets. I wish it were otherwise. I have lived combat and am no warmonger, but I do believe in the best defense money can buy. This is a handy weapon.

  • Are these grenades ever hitting the ground?

  • @tom1161 No, they were launched into orbit.

  • @rangerstubbs76

Cheers if it was a V8 i wouldnt mind so much

  • ... Kinda sad that people invent tools to take lives rather than save lives.

  • @jlbarton1989

If saving lives made money, we'd already have a cure for cancer, AIDS, the common cold, influenza, and other ailments that are common relatively to each persons risk factors for such. I'm sure cancer and AIDs are very very hard to find a cure or answer for from a medical standpoint, which is probably why people would rather develop weapons of mass destruction. If your medicine happens to kill someone, there's class action lawsuits. If weapons do it, it's "collateral damage".

  • is it just me or are we humans getting too smart for our own good?

  • @cheesesteak93 it's been like that since 1945. humanity has always been trying to kill itself, but with the nuclear bomb, the task becomes much easier

  • @cheesesteak93 humans smart? rofllololololololol

  • @cheesesteak93 not too smart, too adept at making dangerous weapons.

  • @cheesesteak93 for our own destruction

  • Put Bieber infront of it

  • thats it? if that the future then were fcuked up!!

  • Why is this special?

  • Dear Santa, . ..

  • music! lol xD

  • Like the description says it is an "ADW" or Area Denial Weapon and all the firepower it packs is because it is made for armor, and personell. All is fair in love and war.

  • Chuck Norris wants his kitchenknife back!!! XDXDXD

  • @TheHamwarder14 it would have been funnier if you said handgun -_-

  • @Em0Dudee21 oh u are right ^^

  • I want one.

  • Now, make it handheld. CoD fanboy's would jizz themselves.

  • that it's for khadafi

  • The future of warfare:

A bunch of soldiers sitting at home in their sofas, controlling a super-human terminator robot on the other side of the planet and shooting bad guys on a TV screen.

  • I thought I was gonna see some shit blow up

  • bringing new meaning to the term frag out!

  • I wonder what happens.. if by accident... a signal is sent to the grenade in the back.. and it ends up plowing through the 10 or however many grenades are in front of it...

  • Для такого калибра он слишком большой. Автоматические гранатометы легче, компактнее и мобильнее (АГС-расчет 2 человека) и не зависят от электричества.

  • it is simple , they just dont use mechanical triggers , they use what electronic triggers , which means you dont need all the moving parts during firing , you simply send a signal to a special designed grenade or bullet or whatever , and you can have as many as you have in there , and provide each round with a signal which could happen very fast , it is very simple , nonetheless genuis

  • @PutDownDaForkStudios bullshit........he reloads with that extra fist he has under his beard.

  • @ReachDeep1 talking bout Chuck Norris?

  • @tnhl77 yup :-)

  • this will come in handy when a nuke is dropped on them. oh wait, no it won't.

  • sorry, but... no reload, no future
