some people go crazy over trace amounts. Any made has Torrence since it very expensive to 100 percent dead on. How ever I believe impurities in vaccinates are so low that tap water is likely to have more impurities. Any way vaccinates are very good since they still work for generations. It help prevent people get sick form very bad illnesses.
Glad to see you back my friend. Great video. very important topic. I love how clearly you give out information, very helpful. These people make the simple fallacious connection that correlation = causation. Very easy to do when you focus only on the hits and ignore the misses. Perhaps you could make a video on the Null hypothesis? Important to be aware of so we don't all make these mistakes. We still do, and will but will be less apt to do so.. I hope.
@Subfightr I'm not sure my Null hypothesis idea would really help now that i think about it. What do you think we could do to make sure we don't make these same mistakes, how does one avoid confirmation bias?
@Subfightr avoiding confirmation bias is difficult, of the cuff the best thing I think that would help mitigate this is a good education in critical thinking.the problem is that no1 thinks they have irrational beliefs as if they did they would very quickly cease to believe in those things. The way I try to avoid the bias is by applying the scientific method to as much as I can but there are many times when its just not practical!
What irritates me most is those who refuse vaccines thinking it's only their lives or health at risk. There are those who cannot for medical reasons take the vaccine and they are most at risk when an epidemic breaks out. Here in the US we've seen small outbreaks of measles and whooping couph, the latter having killed several infants too young for the vaccine.
THE moment they themselves or their relatives get sick they will bite the heels of people in front of them just to skip the waiting line at a hospital.
All the while they criticize and stigmatize doctors and 'BIG PHARMA'.
I say, you hate the healthcare conspiracy so much? Stay the fuck away from hospitals and don't bother doctors.
Anti-vaccers are always people living in rich countries, in which diseases such as polio, malaria, tuberculosis, are very rare. They never see it. They're used to our standard of comfort; not aware of the threat of diseases anymore.
Coupled with a new- age, conspiracy theorist, paranoid mentality, anti-vax fall for this scam by buying "mercury arguments" and want to believe that bigPharma is out there to get them.
It's horrific because they are dangerous. Agree w/you 100%, the scum of the earth.
