  • Wrong Mafiaboy, it is a cadence. And, while they don't probably do alot of parades in the streets, they play it when they pass in front of the crowds at invites.

  • i would hate to live in that neighborhood when their practicing because i know their loud as hell

  • what year is this

  • whats a DCI drum line doing on someone drive way. oh and very tight wish my HS DL could learn that and be 1/2 as clean as that.

  • @PIONEERaudioLOVER

If SCV asked if they could rehearse on my driveway... well, you know what the answer would be.

  • i'd be privileged to have this line play on my driveway... wouldn't have to leave the porch

  • This cadence is so old

  • ITS NOT A CADENCE, lol ITS A WARM UP, these guys don't really have cadences all that often. Pretty much the only use for a cadence is if your in the streets playing for a parade.

  • Although it is a common mistake for people to misinterpret more challenging pieces as cadences, this is not the case with EW. EW is a cadence. It is meant to be marched to, not solely jammed out in the lot.

  • It's a cadence Murray Gusseck wrote in 1990. They play it during their warmup sequence, but it's also marched to.

  • do the dci band members get paid

  • definitely not. more like you pay out the ass to march. upwards of a thousand dollars for one season. ridiiiiiculous.

  • no

you have to actually pay money

but its pretty much a once in a lifetime experience

it might cost a bit but I know I definetly want to do it

  • how much on average i was in a high school band. that was the last time i marched 10 years ago.(snare)and quints

  • you cant do it, you have to be between 13 and 22 to do drum corps

  • There are senior corps man. You just dont see them much on the televised segments of DCI. They dont compete.

  • Uh.... DCA? Why do you say they don't compete? Ever heard of Bushwhackers, Buccaneers, Empire Statesmen? Of course they compete

  • the old ass kickin vanguard!! whered they go!

  • Can anyone tell me the type of heads that the Cadet's snares use? I really love those heads and would love them even more if me and my other 2 snares could march them.

  • Hahahahaha, "Hey, let's go jam in this upper middle class neighborhood." Weird setting, great cadence

  • I love SCV's drumline and I'm not dissing Electric Wheelchair at all, because it's a sweet cadence... but does anyone esle think it's a bit too... I don't know, regimented?

  • only the very beginning, then it gets cooler

  • I can see why you said that, but I think it gets funkier at the end! :)

  • NO.

  • Beats the crap out of the "Show Band" style you see on the movie Drumline.

  • first of all drumline is an idiotic, inaccurate misrepresentation of showstyle marching bands. look at famu, bethune cookman, and NSU for the truth. Second, DUUUUUHHHHH this beats showstyle college percussion, its DCI!!!!!

  • Thank you!!! I wish everyone else in this activity saw it that way.

  • That cadence never gets old!

  • white heat!!!

  • must be nice living in that neighborhood...
