  • I think you have made a great point. The trouble I see is that the candidates Romney runs against are no better, and just as hypocritical. I think Obama or Paul are the best choices, but I don't like either of them and could not in good conscience give them my vote.

  • Mitt's not going to pull out troops after al-Maliki's government is stabilized. There is a good documentary on YouTube called "The Bases are Loaded"; watch it. The US invaded Iraq to build permanent military bases there. We're going to be in Iraq until the oil runs out, and we're going to deal w/ terrorism for decades to come b/c of it. How would you feel if Turkey had military bases all over the U.S.? Bet you'd hate the Turks.

  • Mitt explained that he wants to increase the benefits offered by the military to attract more personnel. He wants to increase benefits to active military and increase support and benefits for veterans. This will attract more people because the military offers benefits but there nowhere near where they should be. He is completely against the draft. Go Mitt!

  • 1. Nowhere does he say HOW he will come up with "100,000" more soldiers -- the draft?

    2. His father was running for president at a time when half of Detroit was burned to the ground as a result of the 1967 riots. Something white america in michigan helped create the conditions for and Nixon helped make happen to torpedo Romney's presidency. Why didn't Wallace go more in depth on this?

    This is very lazy journalism on the part of one of the best in the business.
