I think it would be fair to say that firstly, US foreign policy affects all of us. Secondly, the majority of the problems you point to with regard to Ireland refer to Northern Ireland rather than the Republic of Ireland and are now within a democratic framework. But I've seen Samantha in other videos and read some other stuff and I am really impressed by her. I also think she is extremely sincere and a very nice person on top of that. Obama's advisers are smarter about foreign and domestic policy than are Hillary and McCain's advisers. That is, while they still think within the paradigms of the Washington establishment, they are more prepared to tweak some of the tactical issues around these policies -- tactical matters where McCain and Clinton are too attached to current assumptions about what can and what cannot be done. Obama's advisers are prepared to push the envelope just a little bit more.
