  • Cops in Las Vegas, NV, have them. Stealthy.

  • I don't know that brand, or their power or their battery systems used in those types.

  • i seen these on ebay with european delivery @ a lower cost but they were called EMPED Scooters, are these made by the same company?

  • I WANT IT

  • @mptrax Contact X-Treme Scooters by clicking the link to the website on my youtube channel hope page

  • @partcentpc oh no ! I live in Europe, Italy. no stores here ! :(

  • Why use 21 expensive batteries for something any small motorbike can do more efficiently?

  • @leafyism The E-Motorcycle does not pollute gas like a motorbike would do, if you charge it at your employers office while you are at work, it's FREE to drive daily, many states have no registration or insurance requirements for e-motorcycles, and it's quite, makes no noise unlike a motorbike. Those are just a few reasons why one might choose an electric motorcycle. This is an option for those whom want this type of transportation.

  • do you need to put a license plate on them in new york?

  • @monsteradi4 Yes you would need to register this with your DMV and you would be getting a license plate and registration for it. Some states require a motorcycle license, many others do not. This bike has a high / low speed switch on it. If kept in the low position, the bike will not exceed 30 MPH. Many DMV's say 30 & below it's a moped, not a motorcycle and some like Nevada say it needs no registration at all. If in high position, the bike will run up to it's max speed.

  • The internal combustion engine should only have been a stepping stone, but we have held on to it for too long, destroyed the earth and waging war to obtain more pointless oil. 30 years when oil runs out, WW3 will begin. Pointless.

  • @arminxxxbeast, it is a lot easier to filter one large power plant exhaust than millions if car exhausts. With EV's there are options from where the power can come from, solar, wind, coal. Even from dirty coal, it is still ALOT cleaner than petrol. Petrol cars should have been banned 40 years ago.

  • no pollution?????? where does the electricity come from you power plant

  • yes your right my inlaws are chinese one owns a very expensive 8000watt scooter in china , it will fly , its not cheap at all , my point is you can get cheap in china but also high quality is also produced there also this is in every area of chinese manufacture , from clothes to machines im an american , just because its made in china does not mean its crap , i see it first hand everyday ,you buy crap you get crap, its no differant in china or the usa , good and bad are made in both nations ,

  • @knightspy I agree

  • i seen all kinds of models when i was in china some people removed the battery carried it into work to recharge it at work also that seems to reduce the chance of someone stealing the scooter some of the batterys are heavy but have wheels on them there like pulling luggage , the chinese put the electric and gas scooters thru hell and they keep running , sure there are crappy models but like anywhere you get what you pay for, even in china go cheap you get cheap

  • @knightspy You are correct (when you speak about the cheap electric mopeds that are running around China that also run for years). It should not be mistaken that this item you just commented on, the XM-5000Li or XM-4000Li are anything even remotely similar to these type of cheap Chinese e-bikes found in China. You left your comment on an electric Motorcycle that runs 60-65 MPH with cruising range of 90 Miles, which cannot be compared to a Chinese e-bike. Big difference here.

  • Do you need a license for this electric motorcycle and how old do you have to be to drive one?

  • @YankeeBoy639 Most states require a drivers license or motorcycle license to operate this motorcycle. Ages vary from state to state with some allowing 15, most allowing 16 years of age and some asking for you to be 18 to operate a motorcycle. Check with your DMV online, it should be easy to find the answers to these questions from your states DMV website by looking on google or any search engine.

  • That's awesome that it goes that fast.

  • Hsmmer Gerät und da sagt noch einer was gegen Elektrofahrzeuge!! ;~)

  • How many miles to a charge?

  • @helicoptered The specs can be found on the manufactures website which is x-tremescooters dotcom Max distance at cruising speeds will be about 80 miles per charge.

  • I like these things and I love this technology. It's just, well, the rider looks so goofy sitting like that.

  • you should try to jump off at that speed......that will be fun and painful at first lol

  • can i drive one of these with a class d license or must it be class m only.....

  • This bike will pay itself off by 7 yrs or sooner if you drive it 7,500 miles per year.

Figure out of 15,000 miles of avg travel per yr, would use it 7.500. 7,500 / 25 overall mpg for economy car = 300 gallons X $3.75 per gallon = $1125 saved. Say electricity costs minus oil and filter change saved = $50 expense. $1125-$50=$1075 per yr saved.

Initial cost $6750 / $1075 = 6.3 yrs to pay itself off. If you get it at a cheaper price then your return would be quicker.

  • @u2brr1 I redid the electrical costs for California and found I overestimated the costs to recharge. Electrical cost would be about $60 per year ! Also, I've seen it cheaper on other websites with free s/h for $5,750 ! If you get the green tax refund for electrical vehicles, now you are looking at $500 or less.

You would have vehicle paid off in 5 years. Then every year you save over $1,000 (not accounting for tear and wear but you'd face costs with any vehicle.).

  • why not go green with a bike like this?

  • WOW - I am ready to trade in my current electric bike for one of thes. This really looks like the future - no gas, tune ups, oil, chains, etc. cool. I saw it at xtremescooters4u. About the price of a old used car, so its a no brainer. Im next

  • how much was it???????

  • Well... depending on your capability to re-charge and WHERE you re-charge... you could possibly save enough money over a few years to pay for the unit in fuel costs alone. Perhaps.

  • It would take me 2 years for the unit to pay for itself in fuel - literally. That, and assuming zero maintenance costs... which is probably not far from a correct estimate. This is the future of commuting.

  • I just told the person your talking to on youtube to have a look at the XM-4000Li instead of the 5000Li as it's $1700 less and still hits 55MPH.

  • wow im in love but 6000 dollars?????

  • A similar bike from another brand would set you back $13,000 & it would only hit the low 50's for speed & the distance would also be far less. The cost is found in the 60 AMP Lithium Cells. Those along run close to $2000 for the set. Your riding on Lithium, not lead acid batteries & there is a high price for that.

  • Price?

  • @TimKGrimes

    Price: $5,999.99

  • @TimKGrimes $5,999

  • Nice! I think I want one of these!

  • well u can do awesome weelspins just cant get the biachh to grip!!!

  • Does anyone know if these are safe when it snows?

  • not really.

you can install winter tires, but riding a bike is never as safe as a car on wet or snowy streets. I know from gas scooters.

    greetz

  • Rofl, the wind at the start makes it sound like it's jet powered!
