  • Whether or not this is a great example, remember the time when bands that werent "pretty" could still get airplay on the radio and mtv. I guess that one song is true, Video did kill the radio stars...or rather the ones with talent anyway.

  • Where have all the bandanas gone? I used to own a BOATLOAD of them...now I'm down to only 2 or 3

  • Wow bringing back memories, wore out a couple cassettes with this one,and now this day and age, keepin all of it for me and my woman!

  • Clasico mitico !

  • @SgtCrom lol

  • @SgtCrom Hahahaa, right on, both great guys!

  • Barry's a star!

  • Fran is the man!! I am proud to have him as a great friend!!

  • ORION THE HUNTER (1984)

    Fran Cosmo - Vocais

Barry Goudreau - Guitarras e backing vocais

Bruce Smith - Baixo e backing vocais

    Mike De Rosier - Bateria

  • Can we bring back the 80's please?

  • @sactiger .........SOON!PEOPLE ARE NOT DEF!SOME DAY THEY WILL REALIZED IT!:)

  • @sactiger AMEN!!!!!

  • @SgtCrom That was exactly what I thought as well. LOL

  • Que buen tema. Barry es un gran guitarrista.

  • How could I forget?? Damn Yankees too! I love the guitar work in this Orion video. But find their lead singers voice Irritating in most Orion songs.

Except this one, for some reason. (I dont Want to. I just do !? Oh well, cant like everyone. I do like the high leads of Triumph, Starship, & Journey with Steve Perry of course. Arnet seemed ok at first, but imo his voice died trying to do Perry)

  • More "Supergroups" Cream, Bad English, Rainbow, The Traveling Wilburies. Nobody used the term, but how about Crosby Stills Nash & Young ! Does Van Halen qualify for adding Sammy Hagar(Montrose & Self) ? Or only total reformations? Led Zepplin was actually formed by Jimi Page using the Supergroup formula. First asking Terry Reid before Robert Plant. Reid turned him down ! (But not surprisingly has a similar voice. Tho I think Plant better) Some groups Should be Super with their original cast

  • @kacoll3

    What about Blind Faith ?

  • I miss the 80's!!!

  • @954cudaman you got your defination of supergroup wrong band like styx yes and the cars were great bands but not supergroups . supergroups are member from more then one establish big name some guys from yes joined some other guys that at this moment i cant remember to form the supergroup asia.

  • Some of the gang from Boston Brad Delp, Barry Goudreau and Fran Cosmo. I also love RTZ with Goudreau and Delp.

  • Great music but come on balding singer ? This band did not have a chance !

  • @atomicplayboy4u I see your point! I guess that`s why the lead character acting in the video was the guitarist(Barry) of this band. Usually it`s the lead singer who is the main focus acting in the video. The balding lead singer(Fran) looks like the love child of Sy Sperling-Hair Club For Men founder (I`m not only the president-but I`m also a client)! Anyway, It`s still a great one hit wonder from the 80`s rock music scene!

  • I just realized this video has less than 1000 views(at time of this post)! Crazy since the original CBS/Portrait CD sells for over $80 & the re-release on Razor&Tie sells for over $50. Very rare CD from an obscure one album supergroup.

  • @954cudaman Supergroup? Really? I think calling these guys a "supergroup" is stretching it a lot.

  • SCREW TOM SCHOLZ&his giant ego! When Brad Delp(R.I.P. Bro)&Barry Goudreau left Boston temporarily&formed this band with Fran Cosmo on vocals, Bruce S.(Bass)&Michael D.(Drums) Boston`s popularity was already over& cooked. Just look at the Third Stage LP-Amanda was the only major hit. Orion The Hunter 1984 self titled was their only release. I can only imagine the future possibilities for this band if they had stayed together especially at this time when the music scene was changing!

  • @954cudaman Third Stage sucked. It was a long awaited flop. Nowhere near the quality of the first two albums. (The second album was worse than the first one).

  • "Supergroup" was the term used by the majority of professional album reviewers back in 1983 when this band came out-I guess based on the actual band members prior history. Boston`s Third Stage album charted at #1 on the U.S. charts & went 4X Platinum! Yeah, that`s a flop-NOT! I know a lot of lesser bands who would die for a flop like that. Boston`s second album Don`t Look Back also charted at #1 & went 7X Platinum. You are entitled to your opinion but my posting was based on facts-check them!

  • @954cudaman I saw Orion the Hunter open up for Aerosmith the summer of 1986. Orion the Hunter band members: Barry Goudreau, Fran Cosmo, Bruce Smith and Michael DeRosier. Brad Delp sang back up on a few tracks on the album, not on tour. Hardly a supergroup no matter who might have said it. The critic that used that term was using it rather loosely in my opinion.

  • @Stolehome66 Don`t get me wrong-I totally agree with you. I don`t think a 1 album band with a 1 hit wonder deserves to be called a Supergroup. Early critics only described them as such because they expected a great future from this star-studded band&also the fact that most people working in the business had a great distaste for egomaniac Tom Scholz-it was a shot at him. True Supergroups were established bands like Styx,Yes,The Cars, etc. who unfortunately were fading out by this time. ROCK ON!

  • @Stolehome66 I`m so envious! Even though that was Aerosmith`s "Done With Mirrors" tour(which was their worst album based on that bands weakest sales ever)it must have been a great concert! All the critics had written Aerosmith off. Their next album 1987`s Permanent Vacation(#11 & 5X Platinum)put them back in the spotlight. Tyler&Perry stopped the bickering/changed gears slightly & put out an album to compete with the new pop metal scene that Bon Jovi was creating. A new era was emerging!

  • @954cudaman Correction, I saw them open up for Areosmith the summer of 1984. Orion the Hunter opened up for Aerosmith. This was at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield, IL. This was the concert were Steven Tyler fell off the stage after a couple songs (he was trashed). They finished out the song they were playing and then left the stage. I was in the 3rd row. I remember it was the Back in the Saddle tour. They were still partying very hard.

  • @Stolehome66 Yeah, sounds about right! Seems like at that time Steven Tyler was drinking more than ever & Joe Perry was shooting more heroin than dead legends Jim Morrison,Janis Joplin,& Jimmy Hendrix combined! It`s so amazing that all the Aerosmith members regrouped after those hard times & put out consistent top charting releases for another 20 years. I think only Rod Stewart had more success over his 40+ years due to his adaption/changing of the music genre.

  • @Stolehome66 If you take the combined drinking of Steven Tyler & the heroin abuse of Joe Perry what do you get? Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones who is older than both and still alive!

  • The street where the rider first takes the bike in between a bunch of old industrial buildings is named Sleeper Street, which is near the Fort Point Channel section of Boston.

  • The dude on the video is Barry Goudreau, who played guitar for the band Boston before forming this great and very overlooked band, Orion The Hunter. Nowadays he plays for Ernie and The Automatics.

  • guitarist from boston
