Not sure if Vado has AAA or AA options, I know it comes with chargable one...I had the very first Flip before it was Flip, when digital was first getting started back in 2005 but want something new, just trying to decide between Vado 2nd or 3rd vs. Flip 3rd

@MKF30 The vado is amazing! I love it, the quality is so good for such a small, pocket sized camera, and it has a wide angle lens which makes filming so much easier. My only problem with it is that when trying to film on the go its really shaky.....i normally film with a tripod, but yes besides that i love the vado 3rd gen.

it is somewhat a good camera better than these three.. HOWEVER I don't know if it was just mine but the microphone was crappy.. was taking home videos of my kids and even though they were just a few feet in front of me it sounded like they were across the house..

ive heard the mic was good. but my complaint with the mic is its only os the back side of the LCD screen. meaning it picks up sound mainly from one side, so if you film yourself, your voice wont be as loud. but Idk. maybe you got the lemon. sorry bud.

ok u need to change ur settings .... and what r u using to edit it .... use windows movie maker ... u wont get hd ......use imovie hd set on 720p and tht will work ...or final cut or sony vegas.... and me .. i got final cut livetype and imovie hd but neva had a camcorder :( im to poor
