i have the same version but in canada so it was only sold in grey at the time, keyboard looks weird on mine at night. looks much better on the black models

Yes it is easy t text ... at irst its hard but after about tn mintes its even better than qwerty since its narrower andyour finger doesn't have to go all way the other side for the letter. Its just pefect.

the sound is pretty much ok... u could make the sound go from 2 different parts of the phone.... back side (located under the small mirror beside the camera) its more louder and the front side with is less louder and i recomend not to use it...

got the pearl 8100, it sucks, dont buy it.. i like how blackberry let us buy the phone then came out with the one that has video. thanks blackberry, way to go. the phone is easy to use and gets crappy email right in your inbox. was hoping for a smart phone that did more. this one doesnt. the perl broke once, now this one I got a month ago wont get signal. stay away from blackberry.
