when i go boating i see eagles swope down and catch fish all the time. but one time a smaller eagle got to big of a fish and it's talons got cought in the fish and the weight of the fish took down the eagle into the water i rushed to the eagle as fast as i could i managed to get the eagles talon un hooked and i let the eagle sit and rest in my boat for a while and eventualy it took off and flew into the wind.

Read up on the Golden Eagle at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, it states......"Although capable of killing large prey such as cranes, wild ungulates, and domestic livestock, the Golden Eagle subsists primarily on rabbits, hares, ground squirrels, and prairie dogs." It looks as though it went after a small doe. A Golden can have a wing span of almost 8". I have no doubt it was real, I just wonder if it was a wild eagle or a trained eagle.

No its a Golden Eagle. A Gyrfalcon is only about 24 inches beak to tail, with a 4 foot wingspan. The golden on the other hand is 36 inches long with a wingspan of over 7 feet. Eagles attack at a low angle, in an attempt to capture and carry the prey to a tree. They have been know to attack livestock, like sheep. Falcons attack almost directly from above and try to kill their prey with a heavy impact, since they are smaller and lack the ability to carry anything bigger than a small rabbit.
