  • Wow, very well done ... everything from the photo to the music to the narrative to the poetry. Really, a great production!

  • @BrianDornTFP Thanks Brian, one can get quite a lot in in just one minute.

  • What a gentle and sweet narrative you weave, delicate like most memory. Your father looks like a dear and if that's your mother's lap you're sitting on, you look very much like her Andrew.

  • Lovely, Andrew. ~

  • Wonderfully narrative photo. How interesting to hear your thoughts about its composition. Thanks for sharing. I echo Midipunk's comment about each person's expression telling a story.

  • @XaveJamesGrey Thanks, James, I appreciate your comment and you stopping by

  • Lovely. ^_^

  • @DickensianDreams Thank you and nice to see you here again

  • That's a great photo, each face tells a slightly different version of the story.

  • @MidiPunk Yes, they do don't they. Thanks for stopping by.

  • Tender poem...your father seems to have been very caring..

  • @xyzllii He was in his way, and I think on the whole a pretty decent chap.

  • "...just like a magician".

Magical moments like these are what it's all about. More precious than any memory an iPod or some such device will ever conjur up. Thank you for the reminder and of course for sharing this wonderful glimpse of your childhood.

  • @PassionateMistress Magical is the word, I think, as children we kept our innocence far longer than children do today, and that is unfortunate. So glad this touched you in some way, and great to see you here too!
