It wasn't too simple. I've read a memories from nazy tanker official of how Hitler ordered to copy that tank. They soon fond they don't have a technology to build a diesel like that.

v12 engine is still rare and complicated now not to mention old days.

Yes its a fab tank!! Easily a no. 1 I remember getting a tour of one at the IWM museum in Duxford. Engine started by compressed air and a simple metal bulge under the skirt to keep the track pins in place. 85mm main gun. Years ahead of our Cromwell rubbish!

Damn nice tank, but let me tell you, King Tiger beats the pants off it. -40 degrees Celcius isnt exactly typical conditions.

If you want modern tanks, the M1A2 Abrams destroys any other tank on the battlefield.

yes but the t-34 was never designed to take on a the king tiger, if you compare the king tiger to an IS-2 the king tiger will be pummeled as it will probably break down be fore it gets to the fight
