  • Amazing! So unique!

  • fantastic!

  • I Love this! I'm not well versed in the classics, so i am wondering is this an original composition or is this a rendition of an actual Mozart piece? very very beautiful.

  • @odserick Many thanks! The bass, cello, and violas are almost exactly copied from the beginning "exposition" part of Mozart's 40th symphony, though I changed a few things here and there, especially at the end (so that I could bring the piece to a quicker conclusion). The melody in the violins is original, though quite similar in some parts, as I was still using Mozart's harmony.

  • @odserick So overall it's like a variation on Mozart's work. It's by me, but I stole at least three fifths of it from Mozart.

  • It is possible to obtain a version with a better quality ?

The quick rythm (in blue) is like the electric impulse of the

heart (QRST complex) who can be "listen" when dreaming :)

  • @CQF4 I have an MP3 on my website, under "My MP3s" at wizardwalk(dot)com

Thanks a lot if it's possible.

The fast rythm is like the qrst complex (heart electric impulse) who can be listen during sleeping.

  • I have a very limited knowledge of classical music. I think this is magnificent and beautiful. can anyone tell me specifically what Mozart score/piece this is based on?

    Thanks!

  • @odserick Mozart Symphony No. 40. The first movement.

  • I love watching this just to watch the circles

  • Excellent, i like a lot mozart music style, and it's like i listen a dream, very good !

  • @CQF4 Many thanks!

  • @dkoppel11 Thanks! :-)

  • I agree, I would never attempt to "re-create" or "improve" Mozart... this is a new creation, like how composers like to write variations on each other's themes. It's a really fun way to explore works you admire.

    Thanks for listening! :-)

  • amazing

  • ... All I know to say is... very interesting (in the loosest possible manner) I like your creativity... or whoever wrote this.

    ~McB~

  • i actually to play a guitar melody over this and it worked. beautiful composition

  • poisoned by salieri haha

  • wow great job! amazing

  • soooo Mozartian :)

u have really captured the essence of Mozart in this piece...

    Tim

  • i have 2 questions...1. on the program u use, can u type in notes w/o any extra equipment?? and 2. will u be my composition mentor?? im a freshman in high school that is a composer in training....plz?!?!?

  • Im waiting for a new peice by you! =O maybe even individual sheets for the other 2 trios ^____^

  • this is interesting

  • Extremely catchy main activity part (you can tell my terminology is home-grown - one instance of what I mean is at 1:48-2:08).

I keep thinking the strings here sound less real than Garritan's usual.. but I haven't heard much in the way of real strings, so I have no idea.

Despite that, this is the kind of music that when you're doing something, like cooking or painting, will NOT stop going through your head. Nice.

Critique for this one (there's not much): that ending is pretty damn prolonged..

  • The strings might sound a bit different here because I might be using slightly different reverb... or because just the lack of orchestral accompaniment just makes them sound a bit more "naked" ... in most of my other pieces, I almost always double the violins with something...

As for the ending, it is purposefully too long as a joke... hehehe :-) (PDQ Bach, however, is the king of "way too long" joke endings, he's hilarious.)

Many thanks for the comment!! :-)

  • Wonderful variation! Very interesting to hear =)

    Great job.

  • impressive stuff!

  • This is an incredible piece filled with emotion and passion and it just really gives me chills and like most people have said your work is incredible please keep up the fantastic work.

  • Mozart's Dream rocks - amazing!!! If only Mozart were alive to hear that such a talented Wizard is Walking his legacy further, he would be honoured!

  • Many thanks!! :-)

  • Very interesting work, a free improvisation on motifs on the famous symphony in g-minor KV 550, a real creative achievement, especially the begining of the second-theme I could recognize very clearly.

  • Thanks! It was a fun learning experience... Mozart always amazes me!!

  • Your Welcome! They're really good.

  • WOW. This is amazing. Your songs are amazing. Now is the time that I really wish I could do that.
