Hi, i have this MoBo and recently i´ve changed my windows vista 32bits to windows 7 64 bits and now my graphic card isnt giving me the performance that gaved me before i changed to windows 7!

Is that a problem of BIOS? I also changed the cpu core voltage from 3.0 to 3.2 (amd phenom 940). MINE ISNT ULTRA!

im just got my Phenom 965 BE 3.4Ghz, and when i install to this MoBo, its just show 800Mhz only. Can u give me hint/tips to adjust bios to make it become 3.4Ghz, because im not too good in clocking..plz

@Cience4thewin It supports 140W Processors I'm pretty sure it's going to work but i'm going to use the Phenom X4 965 Black Edition!!

why there is a cmos under pci-e slot? do we have to remove graphic card

to clear cmos?

@creditchit Well if it's covering the cmon clear jumper it's better to remove the GPU to do it!

If you really know about computers, you'd know overclocking is not recommended and no one is responsible for hardware damages caused as a result of overclocking practices. I have seen this system running overclocked and it is fine, but I'd rather preffer to use my system with powerfull cpu, memory and video card from factory, no OC. I have this mobo and I had the Nvidia version (GF8200A), I must say this mobos are the best I have had. They run just fine, fast, good quality and all of features!.

Mine came with another CD for eJIFFY, it is a sub-OS based on Linux, it is installed on Windows like any other program, then restart the system, enter the bios and change the option eJIFFY to ENABLED, next time you start the system, it offers the option to either go to OS, load eJIFFY or BIOS (after 10 sec it boots by itself to OS), if you select eJIFFY, it loads in 15 secs a basic OS, with web and webmail browsing functions, pics viewer and drive access. It is excellent in case of OS crash!.

@wtrdogg20 Not really sure what your comment means... I did no overclock on this board since it would not post. So i returned it and got another, and then that one wouldn't post. So I returned it again and just got a gigabyte and it worked great.

Im sure its a great board if it works.

@grpace Well i just bought one either and i thought mine didn't worked fine as well cos' It didn't showed up the posting screen so I started testing everything and at the end I changed the RAM memory to slot 2 and it worked so i said well first slot gotta work either so i cleaned it and placed the RAM again and the posting screen showed up seems like this board may have some problems with RAM Memories on the first slot but mine worked fine after that results "I'm Using it Right NOW! XD

just got this on 12/16/09 works great, mine didnt have the am3 ready sticker but i put a phenom x4 945 am3 cpu and it worked great. the cpu is rated at 125w but this board can handle up to 140w cpu. looks amazing. easy to overclock with the amd software

@pfernando27 Its weird, never had any problems with motherboards until this one. I did a build for my friend awhile ago with a lga 775 ecs board and it works fine.

Im surprised you got one that worked! They sent me two DOA ones before I gave up and bought a gigabyte board but other than that the board looked nice.

mine has bugged sensors, the temps don't work and the voltages are way off, it says my 12v is 4.93v. xD if it was that low it wouldn't boot.

I'm jealous of the onboard power and reset buttons... But I haz EIGHT USB 2.0 ports on my Gigabyte EP45-UD3R. Just wish I had one more PCIex16 slot :(

yes sir.

This motherboard, cheap psu, athlon ii x4, stock cooling, 4850, case i had laying around... but with a nice window.

It might be cheap but it should perform really nice.
