I hate to tell you this..but they have been very straightforward about the fact that they RESTAGE some shots for the final edit. Just like EVERY SINGLE REALITY SHOW. There is not a single reality show on TV that doesn't stage things.
The outcomes, however, are not fake. And there is a HUGE difference between staged shots and fake ones.

The long shot was too distant for us to see how the challenge was won. Some people are way too desperate for conspiracy...
It's just editing to make it more exciting....over 400 people have played survivor, and your telling me that not one of them has let it slip the show is fake? If it was fake, it'd be known by now....unless everysingle person of the over 400 people who played are the best secret keepers in the entire world.
2 me, it looks like a bounce that lead 2 the win. Plus, if the show did rig the results, Burnett would be sued, CBS would be sued, and Survivor wouldn't be on still. Rigging a game show is a felony. Their was a game show about 2 air called "Our Little Genius" that got axed a week b4 its debute, becuz the kids were getting the answers from the production team. The Quiz Show Scandals of the 50's lead 2 a law being passed. The FFC would be at Survivor's doorstep right now if it was fixed.
Just so everyone knows... this is a reality show! They have 1 chance to get all the footage they need... yes it is a different setup of the balls, not a different camera angle... but either way Galu won that challenge and if they needed to reinact that part so they got a close up of that then what's wrong with that? Same outcome.

Yes. That's because they're shooting 2 frames. The player marks and they filming the scene once again, to have even more frames. The editors have put the second scene as the first.
count the # of purple balls on the left side of the stick at :23 then count the number of purple balls on the left side of the stick at :28, notice the video of him shooting the ball was the ball that rolled to the left of the stick hence the reason there is a ball on the left side of the stick at :28. They just used the footage from one toss and the result from another...simple editing!
Does this prove anything? NO, they always reenact these kinds of challenges If they feel like they didn't get a good enough camera angle, I made a video called 'a question to the producers', and I feel like one of my questions proved Survivor to be more fake then this scenario.

I think what they did, is they took the best hit (which could have been 3rd or 4th last) and used it in the end to make it look more intense. Survivor is most certainly not fake. They do face the harsh elements, and brutal challenges.
There is tonnes of editing mistakes in survivor, i was watching one on here, an early season and they used the same "talking to the camera" bit twice, eh i dont think the show is fake, just edited poorly sometimes.

At best it is emphasizing something. One should always realize you're watching a heavily edited compilation of one hour from what happened over three days. Great job noticing the discrepancy. I know that the editing team does some shifting to make the show more exciting. For example, Chase was disqualified in a challenge where Jan won. Editing made it look like Chase let go of the rope where in fact he was disqualified.

This is more an error in editing than it is proof that this show is fake. You can find errors in editing in just about every show, reality or not. When you have that many cameras all filming 24 hours of footage all day long, when it goes to be pieced together to present the action things can get shuffled.

Watch just about any show on TruTV and you can tell that while it seems like reality, and may certainly be based on real situations that there is most certainly reenactment taking place. Do you suspect every moment on the show is full of suspense for them? No. :-/ It's a TV show; the premise of it is real, but parts of it are obviously edited for TV. If it's not interesting, no one will watch. In season 22, there is a challenge where both tribes have to smash five plates. The show edits it to make it look like one tribe is much closer to winning than they are, but in reality you see that they weren't close at the end (a mishap by the editors). It's real, but edited.
Parts of the show not pertaining to the outcome are edited. The thing is that Galu won the challenge, but Survivor does use a dream team, and probably used dramatic shots to spice up the content of the challenge. It doesn't mean they falsified the results, they just changed the way it happened. There was a challenge in S20 where they edited the challenge so that Rupert came in second instead of Jerri, which isn't how it happened when they actually filmed it. tl;dr: Filming real, editing fake.
While il admit you do have a good eye for noticing that, ( i would have never seen it) it is possible that it was editing done to shorten the game, and perhaps a flaw missed by the editors
Survivor isn't fake. The people are really doing what they're doing but the editor sometimes puts scenes in the wrong area. I'm watching the new season and Jeff said they've been at it for 19 days and then 2 mins later he says they've been out there for 14 days so far. Plus it doesn't happen in real time, they cut filming after Jeff tells them the challenge etc. and then the folks talk about it off camera. everything is true but the editor makes it dramatic or more dog eat dog to add pep

Then explain to me why at Panderosa the survivors lose a load of weight? Completely invalidates the "secret feeding of survivors" theory. The food maybe true for Probst and the Camera teams/medics, but not for the players.

I'd hate to be a let down over here but this video can't really prove much. Sometimes the shots taken in survivor aren't so clear so the producers have to re-act what happened. They do these in other seasons too where the people in tribes do something that's a key part of the whole season but the cameras weren't in that area or the sound/pictures were too blurry.
Whats seen on TV may not be EXACTLY what happened but it IS following/based on what really happened.

Yeah simulated shots, if they didn't do that cameras would be all over the freaking place interrupting the survival feel to them which would show through to us. lots of the close ups are down by production playing the game to get the shots in. This doesn't mean the purple team didn't win because they didn't use their winning shot. More times then not a simulated shot looks better on TV than the actual shots.
It can't be fake or this show would have some of the best acting ever lol. But yeah it's all in editing, survivor is edited to hell which sometimes distorts what's actually going on with the people in the show.

Let me tell you this: i work for the survivor dream team, were the ones trying all the chalenges ect pre production, and everything is 100% real. Altho, they do occasionally make the tribes do something over again cause the camera crew might not have gotten a good angle or missed something. But they never change the outcome or manipulate anything.

Don't be naive. Of course, it's scripted at least partially. This is an entertainment industry, people. I remember one challenge (can't recall the season) where it was raining in some shots but clearly not raining in the next shot. That couldn't happen if the challenge was happening in real time. Of course I could be wrong but I doubt it.

I don't know if you have ever looked, but roughly 40% of the players from cook islands until now have been from california. once again, not that that proves anything, but it sure as hell seems to call the casting element into question. overall i feel what you are saying though. it is impossible to prove the negative argument (trying to prove that survivor is not real).

What you people are not concidering is how the "Original" video taken from MANY cameras was edited prior to being aired. Not all shots that you see are edited in a sequential footage. There are MANY hours of video to edit into a single portion of the show. Not all video footage is used during the editing to create the aired video that you see on the show. You have no idea what sequential order the aired video was put together! You can't claim this is fake until YOU see ALL footages!
Anyway, kiddies, Survivor is fake. Boston Retard is fake. Phillip is fake (nobody talks of a master plan and throws the game). The lawyer douche was talking like a fanboy from the beginning. There is no doubt in my mind they gave Russell inside information, helped him find idols and that Phillip was plant on RI to help the returning players but thats a lot different from being completely fake and EDITING DOES NOT = FAKE! @ofiragorn It is common knowledge that most productions, BEFORE they're even editing the show, have to recreate some shots (on location) if they're missing from their footage. Clearly, this close-up of the purple ball knocking away the yellow one was shot because the production had to show the audience how Galu had won the challenge. The long shot was too distant for us to see how the challenge was won. Some people are way too desperate for conspiracy...

However, they openly claim that they do edit things that don't affect the outcome to make them more dramatic. Great job noticing the discrepancy. I know that the editing team does some shifting to make the show more exciting. For example, Chase was disqualified in a challenge where Jan won. Editing made it look like Chase let go of the rope where in fact he was disqualified.

They actually have a legal team on location overseeing all the game challenges to make sure the rules are followed and any type of foul play, cheating, rules violation either with game challenges or otherwise is reported and dealt with it would be impossible for production to manipulate results and get away with it !!!!

This is more an error in editing than it is proof that this show is fake. You can find errors in editing in just about every show, reality or not. When you have that many cameras all filming 24 hours of footage all day long, when it goes to be pieced together to present the action things can get shuffled.

Watch just about any show on TruTV and you can tell that while it seems like reality, and may certainly be based on real situations that there is most certainly reenactment taking place. It's not hard to find proof shows like the ones on Tru are fake, but after 10+ years of survivor find one person on the show that could testify to it being fake. You can't.

Do you suspect every moment on the show is full of suspense for them? No. :-/ It's a TV show; the premise of it is real, but parts of it are obviously edited for TV. If it's not interesting, no one will watch. In season 22, there is a challenge where both tribes have to smash five plates. The show edits it to make it look like one tribe is much closer to winning than they are, but in reality you see that they weren't close at the end (a mishap by the editors). It's real, but edited.

Parts of the show not pertaining to the outcome are edited. The thing is that Galu won the challenge, but Survivor does use a dream team, and probably used dramatic shots to spice up the content of the challenge. It doesn't mean they falsified the results, they just changed the way it happened. There was a challenge in S20 where they edited the challenge so that Rupert came in second instead of Jerri, which isn't how it happened when they actually filmed it. tl;dr: Filming real, editing fake.

Survivor isn't fake. The people are really doing what they're doing but the editor sometimes puts scenes in the wrong area. I'm watching the new season and Jeff said they've been at it for 19 days and then 2 mins later he says they've been out there for 14 days so far. Plus it doesn't happen in real time, they cut filming after Jeff tells them the challenge etc. and then the folks talk about it off camera. everything is true but the editor makes it dramatic or more dog eat dog to add pep

I'd hate to be a let down over here but this video can't really prove much. Sometimes the shots taken in survivor aren't so clear so the producers have to re-act what happened. They do these in other seasons too where the people in tribes do something that's a key part of the whole season but the cameras weren't in that area or the sound/pictures were too blurry.
Whats seen on TV may not be EXACTLY what happened but it IS following/based on what really happened.

Yeah simulated shots, if they didn't do that cameras would be all over the freaking place interrupting the survival feel to them which would show through to us. lots of the close ups are down by production playing the game to get the shots in. This doesn't mean the purple team didn't win because they didn't use their winning shot. More times then not a simulated shot looks better on TV than the actual shots.

Let me tell you this: i work for the survivor dream team, were the ones trying all the chalenges ect pre production, and everything is 100% real. Altho, they do occasionally make the tribes do something over again cause the camera crew might not have gotten a good angle or missed something. But they never change the outcome or manipulate anything.

Don't be naive. Of course, it's scripted at least partially. This is an entertainment industry, people. I remember one challenge (can't recall the season) where it was raining in some shots but clearly not raining in the next shot. That couldn't happen if the challenge was happening in real time. Of course I could be wrong but I doubt it.

I don't know if you have ever looked, but roughly 40% of the players from cook islands until now have been from california. once again, not that that proves anything, but it sure as hell seems to call the casting element into question. overall i feel what you are saying though. it is impossible to prove the negative argument (trying to prove that survivor is not real).

What you people are not concidering is how the "Original" video taken from MANY cameras was edited prior to being aired. Not all shots that you see are edited in a sequential footage. There are MANY hours of video to edit into a single portion of the show. Not all video footage is used during the editing to create the aired video that you see on the show. You have no idea what sequential order the aired video was put together! You can't claim this is fake until YOU see ALL footages!
