My #2 doo wop song behind The Tymes So much in love One of the prettyest songs ever, Check it Art Garfunkle's version, this is better, but it is just a great song
@nobleteamspartan073 Was so good, I cried at both endings. :/ Plus it was fun playing as Jackie since is an older version of me (look wise xD) So needless to say I had hella fun with it.
who doesnt feel like the weight of the world's opression is lifted as soon as you hear 2:41, oldies is where things like love and romance supersedes sex and pleasure in this sick world we live in, thank you for keeping this wonderful music alive, i hope to share this with my future grandchildren and let them share in the warmthness that is pure magic
I was one of the few original 'Soulheads' in the late 70's/early 80's. It was either Soul or Reggae at my school. I grew up on Ronnie Laws, George Benson, Roy Ayres, Deneice Williams, Chaka, Khan, Phyllis Hyman, etc. But my dad listened to Swing, Be-bop and music like this. So I had to. Beautiful. How could anyone not 'like' this? It's so... Hmmm... Delicious... Thanks for posting.
Ain't it funny how a song like this can come on the radio from this time period, and it's like your hand just instinctively reaches to turn up the volume knob....
How could anybody not just love the music from this era, I would like to go back and jump in my 57 Chevy pick up my girl and go to our special make out place.

What a time to grow up in the Bronx in the (50's). We Do-wopped in all of the echoed hallways and under all the bridges that we could. We would sing, Billy Stewart, The Moonglows, Sam Cook, The Platters and The Dells. We thought it would never end. I'm so thankful for all those times and experiences and the guys I grew up with. I wouldn't trade those times for anything.
@troydt1982 good choice, i was dancing with my girl friend at a Sadie Hawkins dance in high school in1959 cheek to cheek and a school monitor tapped me on my shoulder and said NO Bodily contact is permitted, this is real hard to believe , but that was the norm in the 50's, anyway that girl i was dancing with is my wife of over 47yrs,
@1ED2DD yeah i went to catholic school and the nuns use to monitor the dances if you can believe that. no close dancing. should have seen their faces when the twist came out.

@1ED2DD Yep. We had the daylight rule -- the chaperones at school dances had to be able to see daylight between us when we were slow dancing. Daylight got pretty dim sometimes, though!
