I don't get it. These Tiva tributes are outstanding but it irks me that the kissing scenes from "Under Covers" is used. They weren't (for lack of a better word) real because they were on assignment and it was part of their cover.

The knowing glances, personal questions asked, laughter, and accidental contact mean more. "Under Covers" was an assignment not a moment between them.

Well, it's more about creative expression than anything when making a vid. Also, you need to be able to work with what you have...

This vid is more about "how" did they fall for one another. Even if "Under Covers" wasn't a real tryst, it still put them in an intimate position. For both of them, this would be a key moment they would look back on b/c what if...even though "staged"...their feelings started to emerge in the tiniest of ways?

I don't have any issues at all with the hope for Tiva, which would be implied in "Under Covers." I think Tiva fans truly hope it's real this time.

I think the biggest impetus for deeper cores being touched is in "Cloak" when Ziva and Tony were arguing about orders and Tony says, "I'm tired of pretending." It would be a failure of the writers if nothing is built upon those poignant words.

I totally agree with you on that point. That was one of my favorite moments in their relationship, and I'm concerned that they may have already extinguished what they've already built after the events that transpired at the end of last season. There's a point where writer's can go "too far" and ultimately lose the momentum they've built. I really hope they haven't reached that point, because I'll be really disappointed.
