At least prgrams like this give people a soemwhat actual idea of what happens in some science plans people have to start somewhere so at least people are getting an idea of what we are dealing with. How do they know making an exact copy of someone is really transporting them. It would be better to just find a way around the speed of light than the other.

I think this is a terrible idea that can go wrong in all ways.

Not only are you destroying other worlds but you just created a terible space-virus that could one day destroy life and everything we know it.

@TakingItCasual My best guess is that they're using alternate methods to keep it interesting. Can't just keep rehashing the same ideas over and over.
