all the versions are diffrent but the ds and 3ds arent

ds isthe same as the n64 versionand the 3ds is gonna be the dreamcast i think

At 2:36 Sssam says you can 'bend down' but what is that even used for? it doesnt seem to do anything.

It's hard to notice, but when you hold down that button, Rayman will lean back even further and Sssam will move a bit faster. I use most of the time in this video so it looks normal.

I believe he is a monster called Eig, who is mentioned in the "lum's knowledge" pages, saying that he is a terrible creature from the Marshes of Awakening that spends time drinking.

You just keep playing the game. Eventually you will find the name of that place.

It really varies. I'm almost certain that I own at least 100 games from the NES to the Playstations to the Wii

Mario, Legend of Zelda, Sonic The Hedgehog, "Tales of" Series, Halo, Banjo-Kazooie, Crash Bandicoot, Rayman... like the list goes on.

There's nothing up on top from what remember. There isn't a way to jump up there (and if there was, there is no foothold up there).

i wouldve got this version but i got the ps1 version for 1 SIMPLE REASON:to put it on my psp so it would be portable ^_^...2 bad that there have been removed like 3-4 levels :(

DS is a port of the N64 version. There isn't one there.

Dreamcast has it, and the PS2 version I think it actually chases after you here.

OMG These graphics are stunning on Dreamcast!!! I love the 3D logo, advanced sound and 3D map rotation. This looks a LOT better than 64. Rayman and the magic dust effects look better as well. I really should got a Dreamcast and this version.

i use to have it on ps1 when it was just called rayman 2 and it had people doing the voices then i got it on ps2 and ds and there was no voices i was really disapointed because the voices where gr8 and it made the movies so much better to watch

Yeah apparently, only the Playstation versions of the game was able to get voices. Probably because the systems were highly popular back then.

I wish it could be for all the systems.

Wait do you mean real English voices? How did Rayman sound? I always hear him say "Yahoo! Rayman!" Or "Yabal-Dabol", sometimes I hear him say "Yay, Rayman!" in the 64 version. The gibberish can get very annoying, though. It wasn't annoying in Rayman Raving Rabbids, I kinda liked it.

Yes. That's because the N64 used MIDI for it's music.

I actually used both types for the non-surfing areas.

Most of the signs are made for the Henchmen... but there aren't as bright as one would think.

the signs are wierd. cause i can remember one saying: free dumplings for any that can figure how to open a door (in the santurary of water and ice) (the lost island for PS2 and DS)

This game seems to be different for every system. I have the N64 one. The Dreamcast version seems way more superior. Makes me want to buy one! Haha.

Dreamcast was believed to be the best version by popular opinion. You probably wouldn't regret buying this game again if you have the system.

There isn't too much different. The graphics can look sharper with certain cards.

Think of the N64 Rayman 2, but cleaner. Solid motion and better music. That's the best way to describe it. Oh, and you can visit the Ubisoft Website from within the game (Launches your Webrowser), but I had a hard time finding Rayman 2 on there.

I think it was never given an actual name. According to the Yellow Lums, he was the Guard to the Cave of Bad Dreams.

This is the best version of Rayman 2. I own rayman 2 for n64, ds and playstatio and i own this one too but my dreamcast is broken. This one has much more features, and I thought the ds version had features, boy was I wrong. (Well, technically IDK.)

yea, I had problems with the d-pad also, so i slid the cursour over and I used my thumb on the touch screen. That made things a lot easier.
