...cont... I have found that because i dont wear makeup very much. i usually just put mascara on but thats about it, so when i do get dolled up people notice. When I was in my 20s and 30s, I wore more makeup, foundation, than I do now, many years later...I have excellent skin that's fun to show off now! I'll always use a little blush, a little shadow, a little mascara, and yes, it's for me, but I don't really give a rat's ass what anyone else thinks about it, and I sure wouldn't have gone along with Rachel Rabbit, just because she dreamed up no make-up week...quit worrying about what other people do and take care of yourself!

For the most part I love wearing make-up and putting it on myself or other people, just because its fun and creative. the funny thing is my boyfriend prefers it when I don't wear make-up. lol

another reason i think we wear make up is its our psychological armor. when were feelings stressed and we have to gather our selves up and head out into our day we think "ok i stick to my guns and put on my war paint and i will make it through today". i noticed in my self that i was more likely to wear make up when i was stressed than if i was happy about something.

Makeup is unnecessary and even kind of creepy, in my honest opinion. It just doesn't look real. Bright red lipstick is especially creepy.

I know a woman who goes to bed in full (heavy) make up all the time. I've known a couple of women like this over the years. I can't imagine the work put into that not to mention the horrors it must do to the skin!!

Also a girl who wouldn't let her boyfriend see her without make up so she got up BEFORE the guy to make sure he never saw!! and if you caught her walking about the house without it, she'd cover her face to talk to you. And walked on tiptoes if she didn't have heels on... MENTAL!

I hardly ever wear makeup - i sometimes cover the odd blemish, or dark circles under the eyes and a bit of blush. But day to day - hardly ever. I never wear lipstick though as you only have to keep reapplying... too much like hard work!!

Nearly every man i've ever been out with prefers the NO makeup look. every time.

It takes about 2 minutes to adjust to, after that I don't notice it anymore. I say go for it! =)

It's easy to accept, i think, women without makeup being the norm but I will also say it is nice on occasion, that makes it more special.

I wear it myself on occasion when I'm in the mood, more fun for everyone.

I knew I found a good guy to date when I was happy wearing little to no makeup in front of him. Im actually more comfortable that way with him because I can cuddle up with him and not smudge anything and not worry about mascara flaking or lips smudging. it's such a relief.
