From the video, I noticed whoever was making the dumpling is a gr8 cook. The meat and other ingredients looks like it was cooked to perfection. Love it. Thanks
@udon890 when my mum makes it, she doesn't cook the leaves prior to wrapping it. You must first soak and clean the leaves. Then wipe it with dry cloth so that it is not dripping wet. Then proceeed to wrapping stage. YOu should be able to google the recipe. So rry I can't help much as I don't know how to make this myself.
Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)
@oriong8 : Yes. But someone told me, if the rice are packed too tight inside the leaves, you need to cook for a longer time. So you probably want to do 1 or 2 for the first time and see how much time is need to steam the wrapped rice. This is the trick.
not only good look, the taste is all so delicious! I like...

my granny will fry the glutinous rice w sauce....then make into dumplings, boil in water to make it cook.

wasn't cooked !

doesn't need to be cooked, the key is having the rice moist enough to shape and handle...
