I believe it has many names - where I come from it's called 'makrame' and there are quite a few types of knots makrame refers to although I remember learning only the basic which is very similar to or the same as this one - don't remember already. Makrame was used, among other thins, to weave nice hanging containers for flower pots. And once I found a book with nautical knots - it was makrame! )))

Then snort it in like a giant bugger just enough to get the end into your mouth, then take that loose end and tie it around your "sac", Take the other loose end and tie it around a radiator, or a doorknob on the second floor of your house, and jump out the window. Excellent video! Always have made clear instructions.

The only issue I have with this solomon bar/cobra stitch is the way to finish it. Just snipping the ends short and burning them does´nt seem to do a lot to keep them from untying, but everybody does it and have not seen other way to finish the knot neatly. Maybe I am just too whinning.

I use a craft heat gun to seal the ends of the paracord just thought it might be a little safer than a naked flame.

If the bar is tied tight, you really don't need to singe the ends to keep them in place. They'll stay put. Singing is just an extra measure to make sure they do.
