Dear Brother in Christ ! I am pastor Samuel from south India working for the Lord I have long desire to visit Holy Land Jerusalem.kindly pray for me and ministry.thanking you yours in His service
I recall watching “To Tell the Truth” once and there was a woman on there who had experience death, dead for more than 20 minutes.
She talked about her scenes of Heaven and the sights, the green fields and the walls of The City. One thing that always stayed in my mind, was when she said she could hear Jack Holcomb singing “on the other side” (of the walls). She was at the entrance but had to go back. Later she was also on PTL. and recounted this.
@JunAlask I didn't remember it being on To Tell the Truth or PTL, but I do remember the lady who said she recognized Jack Holcomb's voice though she couldn't see him. Proves he had a specialness in his voice. OneKewpie
God bless you Mr. Roger Olson, you did a very good job to a Christian musician. this is a very sad story, but a good reminder to us. I think Mr. Holcomb overlooked the present situation on earth when he was in the midst of turmoil. instead, he put his eyes on the eternal kingdom to serve the Lord. otherwise it was impossible to overcome all those tragics in his life. A moving story, a moving singing!

jim that is lies and you know it is lies, what about the democratic elections that hamas won?
what about the embargo on gaza that led to 257 deaths since the election?
what about the 6 people murdered in cold blood by the IDF that broke the ceasefire?what about the illegal phospherous and depleted uranium launched at civilian targets?
what about the bombing of schools hospitals un shelters, un aid convoys?
When I read the story of Jack's life, I felt so sad. Some people don't ask for much in this life and they give everything they can.
Jack had to contend with death, sickness and poverty and yet he still sang through it all. I'm sure that Jack is singing somewhere beyond the skies, meeting his just reward which his life on earth never gave him.
It reminds me that we must always live true to God, no matter our lot in life.
that is so sad, life sometimes seems so unfair that so much good fortune can come to some and not to others, and it shows you just how special a person can be when hit with tradgety they still remain such a good person, god bless you jack
My heart swells with this song. Jack is singing for JESUS now.

As tragic as this story is, he is reaping abundance in Glory for eternity. What a blessing he has been and an instrument for our King.
