hi, i have looked at many micro t vids but it seems that they dont steer well and its not smooth like bigger rc trucks, is that true?

@MrAmirDEV ive never had a big truck.. but ivehad a 4wd on road nitro, a buggy, and a micro t.. the micro t has decent enough steering to flip itself.. literally go in a 3 inch diamter circle.. but it hink it's not doing so well in the race because its meant more of a stunt vehicle and the mini z is built for races. i love my micro t tho.. its great :D lipo battery is a must though

i have a fully upgraded micro t. and a stock mini z awd subaru. i took mini t reciever servo battory tires and motor and put it in a jada 1/32 toy class rc. i brought it to a race like that. i smokek them all ecepy for a totaly modded micro dirt. im suprised they even have 1 of these races in alaska. by da way i did all that and im only 12!!!!!

@jmeiliunas haha there will be two rims for tires and two burning skid marks behind you, and i realize now i was driving my micro dt and some dumbass stepped on it and i told him to watch out, he ran up and threw a mini basketball at like in front of it on purpose i said watch out and my dt was sitting there not moving and he was walking backwards stepped on it and broke one of the wheels and turnbuckle/knuckle whatever it is called behing the front wheels

oil dampers (shocks), and WFC Alum on my micro baja.

These things are A.W.E.S.O.M.E!!! I encourage anyone to purchase a micro t, micro baja, or micro DT because they are LOADS of fun!

no mods done to my micro-t at all. that's going around that track directrly out of the box with the higher pinion gear set up, you get 3 in the kit i used the biggest one so i could 'somewhat' keep up with the big Z's and to help a little with understearing.

what can i say? i'm an r/c monster, give me any car/truck and i'll make it handle like it's on rails. period.

well depends on what you want i have both the micro t is for indoor fun and the mini t works well for someone how wants to make an small out door track if i had to chose just one i would take the mini t

That Mini-Z is quite better, also the runtime is about an hour.

Advantage of mini-t: outside / offroad racing? Think it's a tad too weak. Still its a nice car but I prefer Mini-Z by far.

the video shows the speed of a stock micro-t... a faster motor is about 20$. Stock run time is about 8-10 mins depending on how hard you're pushing it. The only upgrades in the video are bearings...

If you're planning on going brushless, you may want something 4wd like a rc18t or rc18b. I've had an 8800k mini-t and rwd makes it spin out a lot.

I bought the micro-t on ebay, and let me tell ya, it's the funnest r/c car I've ever owned and I had a traxxa nitro 4-tec, rustler stadium truck, nissan xmod, micro rs4 sport. This is by far the most convenient r/c model to own. Buy one, you won't regret it.

change out the crappy first generation steering linkages and they're not very fragile at all. I've caught the side of a post, walls, and fences under throttle with mine, even with the lipo battery, and it still screams. You just gotta make sure nothing gets into the rear diff or motor gearbox.

thanks for the comments, the truck has no mods, just bearings and motor bushing oil. i had rubing rings on the front suspension for a bit but found it easier to drive simply stock.

micro-t all the way man it rules, it's fast, very much aftermarket stuff and with the mini-z monster you need to put AAA battery's in of it,

the mini-t is a 1:18 scale i believe.. the micro-t is a 1:36 scale.. nice drivin jmeiliunas

collin, i would suggest using the larger pinion gear that is included in the kit to make the track go faster, you will notice quite a big difference in speed. other than that not too much because i haven't seen that many hop up parts available for the micro-t yet. maybe a lipo battery pack if you can find one that fits in properly.

Awesome track guys. What do you use to lapcount? I've been wondering if this micro-t can hang with the mini-z's,.. thought it could. The only issue I see are the exposed wheels.
