This is kinda how I imagined the style of the Pink Panther cartoons were animated once Pink Panther was off the air (I only saw the cartoon as a "Toon Extra" interstial on CN to fill movie time before the break, with a rare United Artists logo)
Around the time the first Steve Martin movie premeried, I was shocked that the characters moved like "How The Grinch Stole Christmas".
