I did an akuma vs gouken CPU match a lot. Almost every time akuma won (poor non- red eyed gouken). Btw this game's dialogue sounds better in Japanese than in English. But that's just me...

I was doing some ranked games online cause I wanted to unlock some stuff and everyone just used Ken or Ryu and spammed the same moves.

Luckily my friend has a special trick so me and him can always join the same ranked games.

Got like 10 achivements doing this.

I love Abel. He is an amazing character & one of my best. His strength, speed, & roll to get around projectiles are great. His Super dominates his opponent, & his Ultra passes through projectiles & does a lot of damage. He's great overall.

The only thing I wish is that is that he'd have longer range with his tornado & anti air throws. I just want him to lean forward a little to reach out farther. Right now you have to pretty much be standing right next to the opponent to special grab them.

Abel is very fun to play, but he has some big problems - antiair is insufficient, qcf+p is way too punishable unless you combo into it (no real mixup mindgames despite its initial appearance, the low extensions are slow and terrible). Again, though, he's very fun.

He´s my favorite of the 4 New Characters

I like his roll special good to roll under a Tiger Shot

I also like his Anti Air Throw its a great Counter for Shoryukens

and you can link it with the quarter circle back + punch forward + punch punch move when he lifts the opponent up

And i really love Abels Ultra

Abel is awesome, I agree. I still love all 4 for their own quirks though.

With Abel, when you win, you feel like a GENIUS since you need to use all his moves in his arsenal. Extremely technical, right up there with the likes of Dhalsim (still the most technical obviously) and Fuerte.
