  • hairy bum hole

  • He has no fucking idea what he's talking about.

  • Why are you running CPU-Z instead of the SR2's EVGA E-LEET?

  • all that power but running it on a single most likely 1080p monitor :*(

  • Is the sr2 any good for gameing

  • @Pvtmatchsticks no its the worst motherboard around

  • I'd rly like to overclock my i7 930 .. I've seen many guides, but somehow it still confuses me a lot.

  • @4200Dietz then go to a forum and let people help you. core i- oc is pretty easy, but you got to know the basics first.

  • so...sexy'

  • but will it blend?

  • btw it still won't run Crysis

  • @cruz1ale I think you'll find it can.

  • @cruz1ale I think you'll find it can.,

  • meh, it should be water cooled

  • @cruz1ale

This is a workstation based PC, not meant for kiddy stuff like water cooling.

  • whats the highest xeon overclock ever (with that motherboard).

Why can't be 7GHz? Thought it is capable of using 2 xeon cpu of 3.5ghz. Please, explain to me.

  • @CafimABF it's a matter of physics ... doh!

  • ok... this is excessive and i think the more power the better... but this is way over the top... nothing wont need that much power for another 5 years or so.

  • i wonder if i can run minesweeper

  • Does Minecraft still lag?

  • is that the better pc in the world? LoL what a beast ^

  • @exoticg9 Nah it's already outdated (since it's from June 2010).

  • finnaly a PC that can run Pong

  • awesome pc to play tetris on ! Or counter strike!

  • So the hot air from three GTX 480s is used as intake for the two Xeons that have been highly overclocked?

I suppose it's difficult to fit everything in.

  • Do you have a vid with your 1960 gaming rig ??? Lol nice video !!!

  • 10.0 ghz omfg :d

  • 10.0 ghz omfg :)

  • Dear santa!

  • Can i get Intel Xeon on my MSI K9N Neo V2 Motherboard?

  • Xeon E3-1280 when ?

  • roda mario kart?

  • GRANDPA !

  • If you're a gamer (not that this is only for gaming), at what point do you completely bypass game graphics needs? Surely any game on the market will run at full settings on a computer that costs $1000 less than this.

  • @DelinquentRodent this one lasts a bit longer so u might as well do this instead of buying new systems now and then

  • The Mainboard sucks, only 48GB RAM.

  • @TheWhistlerCode Only? My Mobo accept 16GB ram D:

  • Ill order one now then :P

  • How much would this setup cost?

  • @compspud 3000-3500$

  • @compspud and you can build a better one for cheaper. i7 2600k and 580 in 2way sli. = $2000; that is top of the line almost. 580 in sli is overkill, you could save yourself $600 by just running 1x580. the 2600k over clocks very well too.

  • Wow, THAT case is CLEAN.... O_O Modular PSU and tucked away wires?

  • This makes me nostalgic of my old sculltrail build... Funny thing though, I've used Lian-Li PC-P60, on the box it did say that it does support E-ATX... ugrh, nothing that a dremel and a pair of pliers won't sort out, but damn it was an ugly job ))

  • Isn't the vertical orientation sub-optimal?

Both for mechanical stress and thermal circulation issues.

  • poor task manager is not also able to show all sixteen threads.

  • hes just running furmark like a boss

  • @xXxERICxXx8 This is the poor man's SR2 build. 5620's? Come on. What a waste. It's not even 6 core. This guy is a rookie. If you can't go big with the SR2, go home.

  • @goldsworthyjosh good advice, im trying to turn my little asus essentio into something great. want it to look as much like the stock version (no lights no custom fan slots etc) but try to make it kick ass

  • @xXxERICxXx8 Sounds mean. I remember finding one of those in a PC store and thinking the exact same thing. Only problems I could think of is the low profile card required and the cooling. In small cases like that there's no airflow so the CPU and/or video card would heat up something terrible. You may need to modify the case slightly to get some good flow through otherwise the thing will just shit itself when it gets hot. Or try water cooling lol!

  • @goldsworthyjosh dude YES, recently the power button broke so i sent it back (noob mistake) and they took my back fan and front fan, first time turning it on i was 94 idle, i put them back and it went back to 82, still not the best thing, and yea i just got an asus EAH5670, it works nice... going to upgrade the cpu next and maybe a blu ray drive for my second slot. but i already know that when the next installment of windows OS comes out im buying a SATA with it. more planning then buying for me

  • @xXxERICxXx8 That's some pretty high temp for a GPU. I know my 580's will dial themselves back at 97 degrees so if you're 94 idle, that's no good lol. I wonder if there is a water block for that card. Might be worth investigating if airflow is an issue.

Either way, you should upload some photos/videos somewhere of your project and link me. Sounds like a fun project.

  • @goldsworthyjosh yea i was thinking of getting a pci slot fan but i heard its go big or go home, apparently the smaller ones move close to no air =/ and since the fan slots suppourt 92mm max i might just shove some of those in it, getting a Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 shipped out this weekend (hopefully) ... and i might just post my project somewhere

  • @goldsworthyjosh It's a workstation dude.

Did you notice it was running ECC RAM @ 1333?

It's not using those GPUs for gaming. It'll be for parallel computing and rendering, etc.

  • WHERES WATER COOLING?

  • i have the same spec system sr2 lian li i picked the lian li due to the dust filter my rig runs 24/7 and get almost no dust inside. my older coolermaster system dusty as hell. the new lian li v2120 is what i want but its way overpriced £550

  • 6.2 ghz oc ho ly sh it thats fast

  • @matty12345a1 Lian li PC-P80R (BLACK AND RED ONE) LIAN LI PC-V2120 . They are made for this board

  • what is a GREAT case for the EVGA Classified SR-2 i bought one and i found it a hassle finding a case for it. if anyone could help im looking for a full tower that will fit this and i have found out the one i wanted will not work [CM HAF X]

  • how much is that total?

  • Theres no chance for this SLI setup be bottlenecked by such overclocked and powerful cpu.

  • house keeping?

  • this guy is a highroller

  • What language is he speaking?

  • @lexustheimpaler на ебаном английском.

  • @lexustheimpaler english?

  • Hyper TREDS ftw!!!!

  • tini ass monitor xd

  • What PSU does he have running all of that?

  • u should put the cpu coolee facing left from the side view. because the air in the front is a intake, i lt goes to the heat sink, and then to the other coming out the exaust, u could probably put another on each of the cpu heat sinks anf add in a fan controller just to turn them down when not using it at high performance

  • @trancemaster1996 I found that upwards is the better choice. My back exhaust is now an intake, and the heat from CPU rises and gets exhausted upwards by a fan too. The difference will be at least a degree or two at load.

  • Question...let's say I use 2 5680's on a motherboard for gaming. Would I be getting the same performance as the 2 i7 980's? And about how long would it before I would have to consider updating my processor again to keep up with the latest games? My intentions are just to buy the best out there for gaming and just update it with 2 video cards (crossfire) every year till the cards outdo the processor.

  • @enigmafirst Both AMD and Intel current processors will be dead in 2011. New AM3+ sockets and 32nm tech for AMD and new Sandy bridge for Intel, both should be released in the same quarter.

As far as video cards are concerned, AMD is releasing new 6-series card in November, the ATI brand is no more and will be called AMD HD Radeon 6-series cards.

  • did the SR-2 fit good?

  • Overkill for a gamer maybe, any professional doing high level computations would make good use of this.

  • @Spectre426 The good thing about these kind of systems is that they are very future proof and are going to last a VERY long time compared to other lower spec'd systems. If you have the money than why not go for this? :P

  • @Spectre426 I just want to run a friggin Emulator, lol - Would be great if they created a 360 or PS3 Emulator. :-)

  • @1981z28camaro both 360 and ps3 have been cracked already so just buy that console and download your games..

  • @smirko lol, well I don't like buying consoles, I'm a PC lover, but I will play console games on PC if I can download and play them with an emulator, but it's not worth it to me to invest in a console, when most console games are on PC anyways...

  • @1981z28camaro Lol, that cpu might be a good choice for emulating consoles and other applications.

  • @george3dmax lol, yeah well I can run emulators for PS2, and below fairly easily, but as far as PS3 or 360, even if they did have an emulator for either of those I wouldn't be able to really play and games, but yes with this CPU, it would be able to easily handle 360 or PS3 emulation :-)

  • thats way too much power for anybody to need, its just bragging rights. It wont make you a better player.

  • STOP talking and put that shit runing metro or crysis!

  • i cant find this on your website

  • The motherboard supports up to 48 GB.

  • @GryphonDork can suprot up to 80 with 8 gb dimms

  • did you say 96gb of RAM? oh shit son.

  • first. . .. yipi
