  • Sorry about the truck, hope you have a car that you can get to work with.

  • nope aint got a car this was my only vehicle now im stuck with either walking or sitting at home plus cant work right now no jobs in my area

  • Hnnnnn well, the most i can think of is a mouse or some rodent getting into the motor and gnawing on the belt!

  • i think the belt warped from the pulley overheating when it exploded i doubt theres any creatures living in this truck cuz its kept spotless most times

  • Damn man.. that sucks. Sorry that it happened.. i'd throw the stuff back on and fire it up one more time jus to hear it with the parts on.. hopefully the crank didnt bend.. pretty good chance the motor can still be saved..

  • Was the belt old or was it Farley new?

  • i think its fairly new cause it was supposed to have been replaced when i had the starter done back in october

  • You really think it is the crank shaft that is bent, or maybe not just the pulley? Thankfully the waterpump pulley is an easy fix. As for the rod knocking - yuck. Anywho, don't worry about it, we all have bad streaks with vehicles. I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep the videos coming!!!

  • well i dunno what to think on this problem belt magically came off and took a dance with the crankshaft got that timing indicator piece water pump looks to be original which im going to replace and talk about bad streaks so far this is my record 5th vehicle to tear up i would get a horse but be my luck and the horse die or kick me lol

  • Sounds like you have luck like I do - oh, and the horse wouldn't die, it would break a leg and scream in agony until you had to do the ugly, adding in feeling bad that you had to do what you did on top of loosing him, and your only mode of transortation!

  • That sucks!!! That is really too bad man...Sorry to hear that!!

  • yeah it does i was all happy them bam belt becomes a ninja and disappears into thin air only to find it hiding around the crankshaft but when it came off it got the water pump and fan shroud fan almost went through the radiator which im glad it didnt

  • sorry to hear it bud!!!

  • yeah me too cuz its gonna cost like rip to fix it but thankfully i wont need a crankshaft which im happy about cuz i need this engine for my s10 blazer project

  • Damn......I bent the crank shaft on my 68 charger and that SUCKED

  • yeah i dont think the cranks bent i been doing some csi work on the engine and looks like it got the timing indicator which gave me the impression things was out of line still trying to solve the mystery as to how the belt came loose

  • put some 5 inch stacks on it

  • lol not on a v6 but when i put the v8 in i might do something wild with the exhaust

  • wrong belt? ive never seen that happen before had to be something wrong with the tensioner or belt sorry to hear it

  • well i believe the belt got warped from the old tensioner but before this all happened i heard a knocking sound turned it off turned it back on booom belt becomes a ninja and disappears only to find it later wrapped around the crank pulley
