guys if you want to know how to kill derek more easy here it is: 1.Drive to the back 2.wait for all the men to come down and kill them 3.go up the stairs and kill derek.
This mission is easy. When I did it, my car was still outside and I hid behind it before I was going to go in the warehouse and thought I'd just get in and drive it into the back of the warehouse. Then shoot whoever comes down the stairs that leads to Derek's office and hide behind stuff up there and finish iff Derek and whoever else is up there.
I really like this mission... to me it was actually the most emotional mission of the game. I mean, if i discovered that my father was killed at work after working his ass off i'd be pissed and sad, it really got to me this mission...

I think I went upstairs to Dereks office and stayed there for a while, I managed to kill a couple of guys, but you have to be ready, they come up pretty quickly.
@Sutinennn I used that tactic and it worked well on easy and medium but on hard those guys are insanely accurate, That and as you said they come up quick. This mission would be easy if not for those damn molotovs.

I took me a really long time to beat this on hard. I died at least a 100 times. But I just got done beating it and thought I would come on here to help those people trying this on hard or medium even, The easiest way to do this is right off the bat switch to a Machine gun, then kill the group of guys standing around as fast as possible because steve is with them and he has slightly more health than normal. If you don't he'll get to a safe distance and take pot shots at you. This is part 1.
@BAMDANAproductions Part 2. After killing Steve and the group of guys at the beginning, make your way to the garage door opening, being careful as there are enemies still. Kill the guys outside going from stack of boxes to stack of boxes. When you get to the door, outside the door is a car, open the hood and the trunk (this is important), then get in and drive directly to the back of the warehouse and as fast as you can get out and take cover behind the pole/support beam in the back corner.--
@BAMDANAproductions Part 3. Now that you are behind cover, take out the guys around you as fast as possible, the reason for going to the back is so there's less guys attacking you plus dereks molotov's can't reach you under him. Next once all the guys downstairs are killed (there's usually only 2 or 3), theres a box you can take cover behind it's next to the stairs not the one to the right of it, but the one in front of it touching the wall, hide behind there, shoot the guys with guns first. --
@BAMDANAproductions Part 4. After shooting the guys up top with guns, leave your cover and go back to the poles/support beams under derek because there will be a couple of dereks guys coming down the stairs. Everynow and again a couple of guys will start coming down the stairs, so just be careful of this. I always run to the poles and hide, shoot and heal up then go back to the box and shoot at derek until hes dead. It takes a long time to do but is easy.
I ran into the room up the stairs and it seemd as if i killed everyone and then i turned my back on the door for 2 seconds and 4 guys run in and kill me, f****** bull. And then i tryd again by slowly driving the car in and my car glitched and fell into the ocean under the floor and my guy was standing still getting shot.
I know how to kill him!!! there is a car in front of the garage that derek closes on you. park the car in the middle so you can get in and out kill all his guards then kill him real easy

You have to just charge in to the back of the warehouse. Iif you stay underneath the platform he can't hit you with the molotovs. The best way I found was throwing a grenade up from underneath. On hard, there is no way you can just stay in cover. One hit from a molotov and you're done.
Wow, is the Windows version that much easier than the PS3? I beat this stupid mission, only to get the "Pay Back Bruno Bug", so I had to load the chapter from the beginning, and am now stuck on this freaking thing again.
I HATE this mission. When I finally killed the guy with a grenade, I decided to rob a gun store to pay off the loan shark. I died, and I had to restart this entire mission all over again!
Yea, this guide is useless to anyone on a console. The bullets hitting you are taking off hardly anything. In the console version you can't be hit by more than three bullets or you're fucked.
So to anyone on the 360, your best bet is to run to the back, kill the two guards and lob grenades or moltovs up to the top level.
I played this on hard, and those molotov cocktails... Jesus fucking Christ - i kept dying to them! At the end I just went under them, took my grenades and threw them until Derek died, lol.
Omg i'm doing this right now and it's pissing me off crazy! That fat fuck keeps throwing molotovs at me! >:( And doesn't matter how many other guys i shoot i keep dieing. Grrrrr!!
This worked for me: run to the end of building first.. take out the two guys that come walking towards you. Take cover there.. Then focus on the stairs where guys are coming fom. When this ends you can take cover under your enemies as much as you want.The guy in this movie does the same, but he takes cover there after he took down the guys upstairs. But that appears very difficult.

Why didn't you just start this video at the warehouse? it was pointless showing all the cutscenes, the only part people are looking for when finding this video is how to kill derek.

You have to just charge in to the back of the warehouse. Iif you stay underneath the platform he can't hit you with the molotovs. The best way I found was throwing a grenade up from underneath. On hard, there is no way you can just stay in cover. One hit from a molotov and you're done.

Wow, is the Windows version that much easier than the PS3? I beat this stupid mission, only to get the "Pay Back Bruno Bug", so I had to load the chapter from the beginning, and am now stuck on this freaking thing again.

I HATE this mission. When I finally killed the guy with a grenade, I decided to rob a gun store to pay off the loan shark. I died, and I had to restart this entire mission all over again!

Yea, this guide is useless to anyone on a console. The bullets hitting you are taking off hardly anything. In the console version you can't be hit by more than three bullets or you're fucked.
So to anyone on the 360, your best bet is to run to the back, kill the two guards and lob grenades or moltovs up to the top level.

I played this on hard, and those molotov cocktails... Jesus fucking Christ - i kept dying to them! At the end I just went under them, took my grenades and threw them until Derek died, lol.

This worked for me: run to the end of building first.. take out the two guys that come walking towards you. Take cover there.. Then focus on the stairs where guys are coming fom. When this ends you can take cover under your enemies as much as you want.The guy in this movie does the same, but he takes cover there after he took down the guys upstairs. But that appears very difficult.

Guys, there´s a better method. I failed at this mission and kept trying for a while until I got this on hard. MrCaptainJeff had the same idea as me, just drive through the end of the warehouse to escape the molotovs. Park at the end of the left side and kill the first two guys, then come back to the place just below the balcony. Make sure you dont expose yourself while looking at the top floor and throw a molotov at the left corner (left considering the view that you have from the entrance).

I found a much easier way to kill derek, when you go in and the door is closinng, run like hell to the back, 2 guys should spawn, one on the left, one on the right. Kill them, wait for the 2 guys with derek to go try to go down the stairs. Kill them, take care of the survivors that you can see and go kill derek.
