The necklace he gave her was a couple's necklace and as you can see he never took off his half until the end.

Just wondering; is it possible to get injured severely from a fall like that even on ice? It didn't look like a fatal fall where he crashed into a lot of stuff or got a blow to the head.
Yes, I think it's possible. There have been many fatal cases where people were simply walking and slipped on ice. There are even more cases of comas, paralysis, other severe brain injuries, etc. It all depends on how and where you fall.
Of course, there are many of us who luckily survive these falls. Maybe a slapshot to the head would have been a more feasible reason for the MV? Or is that too bloody? ^^::
I'm not sure, but I was always under the impression that either Dongwan or the girl went overseas (since it's so common in korea) and so they had to separate (i.e. Dongwan for treatment and the girl for school b/c of her family, etc.) For one, when the girl visits the arena, it looks like she hasn't been there for a long time. If she went to Shinhwa uni, it would be a place she passes by often, wouldn't it?
As for Dongwan, when he visits Junjin, he looks like a friend who's visiting after a long time and so Junjin treats him to dinner to catch up. Also, this is not the full version. There is a version where Dongwan narrates and he asks himself why he still looks at her in that way and why he recalls the pain...so I'm guessing it's implied that they broke up.

I don't know how well you know Shinhwa, so I can't tell if you are joking or really don't know ^^: If it's the former, just ignore me. They're wearing Shinhwa uniforms because the band's name is Shinhwa. The PDs and scriptwriters for BOF were probably playing on Shinhwa's name since the logo in the drama is orange (Shinhwa's fanclub color) and uses the same font. They call them the 'legendary group' and used Shinhwa's catch phrase, "like a comet, moving forward" etc in the drama as well.
Thanks for pointing that out, when I first saw the drama, I thought it was funny the company name was the same as the band. But I didnt know they actually got inspired by the band. It is so cute, and a nice tribute. really shows the influence of Shinhwa in SKorea
actually, we would still see them but not everyone of them. this year, minwoo and junjin will be going. next year andy's turn but at the same time, dongwan and eric will be back. hyesung will not be in his duty due to his knee.

Actually, there have been accidents where people hit their heads on the ice at fatal spots and died or had serious damaging concussions...especially w/o a helmet. I think in this mv, the ending can be interpreted both as wannie dying literally or just that he's decided to give up his love for the girl...so his love has died.
I like to think the reason why they haven't seen each other was because he was in a comma, that would make a lot of sense actually, she decided that she couldn't wait for him to wake up so she moved on with her life. But yeah i never thought of the line at the end to be a symbol of moving on, relationship wise. I'm not sure, but I was always under the impression that either Dongwan or the girl went overseas (since it's so common in korea) and so they had to separate (i.e. Dongwan for treatment and the girl for school b/c of her family, etc.) For one, when the girl visits the arena, it looks like she hasn't been there for a long time. If she went to Shinhwa uni, it would be a place she passes by often, wouldn't it?

As for Dongwan, when he visits Junjin, he looks like a friend who's visiting after a long time and so Junjin treats him to dinner to catch up. Also, this is not the full version. There is a version where Dongwan narrates and he asks himself why he still looks at her in that way and why he recalls the pain...so I'm guessing it's implied that they broke up.

I don't know how well you know Shinhwa, so I can't tell if you are joking or really don't know ^^: If it's the former, just ignore me. They're wearing Shinhwa uniforms because the band's name is Shinhwa. The PDs and scriptwriters for BOF were probably playing on Shinhwa's name since the logo in the drama is orange (Shinhwa's fanclub color) and uses the same font. They call them the 'legendary group' and used Shinhwa's catch phrase, "like a comet, moving forward" etc in the drama as well.

Thanks for pointing that out, when I first saw the drama, I thought it was funny the company name was the same as the band. But I didnt know they actually got inspired by the band. It is so cute, and a nice tribute. really shows the influence of Shinhwa in SKorea

Actually, there have been accidents where people hit their heads on the ice at fatal spots and died or had serious damaging concussions...especially w/o a helmet. I think in this mv, the ending can be interpreted both as wannie dying literally or just that he's decided to give up his love for the girl...so his love has died.

I like to think the reason why they haven't seen each other was because he was in a comma, that would make a lot of sense actually, she decided that she couldn't wait for him to wake up so she moved on with her life. But yeah i never thought of the line at the end to be a symbol of moving on, relationship wise. I don't want to think of him as dieing though because they showed him coming back, and if he had died then the story/drama wouldn't exist. That's deep by the way. *nod nod* Thanks,

sheesh, even in practice, not wearing a helmet is suicidal. and btw, hockey armor is extremely strong, a body check wouldnt be strong enough to break someones ribs specially at that velocity (to spartan). And a fatal head injury is if you slide head first (laying down on the ice) into the wall which as actually fatal.
