Hi David, I have a follow up question about the SBR. I currently have a Sig 556 Swat Classic rifle. I’m interested in purchasing a 556 pistol like you switch the uppers. But my question is do they just mate up with no modifications required? I am assuming they do but have not been able to find anything to confirm that. I even called Sig customer support and all they could tell me was “we think it will”.

That's a nice (and sneaky) set up. The only thing I would be worried about is the chance of bobbing up & down heavily while you're running to take cover or something of the sort. But other than that, this is awesome.

Technically I think I can carry my AR-15 pistol as a CCW weapon because of how it was designated, but if you tax stamp it with the SBR nomenclature, are you irreversibly changing its status as a pistol to a rifle? If you take the stock off, does it revert to being a pistol?

You are my hero. I need to get one. How available are the factory versions of this? Of course, the SBR license needs to be obtained prior to the actual purchase, but I haven't seen the SBR 556 on the website.

I registered it as an Sbr I bought a rifle and a pistol swapped lowers put a factory sig stock on the pistol lower

I used the classic folder on the pistol upper

I am a class 2 manufacturer
