This song.... If I do recall from the depths of my memory is called.... Wind? I use to listen to this kind of music for collecting my mind and calming myself :). I could be wrong about the name however.
say what you want about me but this is beautiful I started to cry when I saw this, regardless of peoples beliefs nature is so beautiful and filled with life and is emaculent in every way, it's deeply touching when you actually notice all the wnder in it, these birds do something to me inside, they strick a cord with me for some reason.
@quackimaduck000 they are faster and when they fly, theyre primary and secondary feathers on their wings are thicker which makes them more silent when they fly. I am a HUGE owl expert. Love them to death. :)
Occasionally, great grey owls can get they're talons stuck while diving in the snow for prey. But, these northern owls are pretty accurate with their hunting techniques. I've never seen them fumble or get stuck. I have seen them carry away grass rather than a mouse!
Snowy, Hawk, and Great Gray Owls! The largest owls in North America. Their world is more complex and fascinating that people realize. They are honed predators, precisely adapted to prey on those wiley lemings.
One of my two most favorite birds...Ravens and of course, Owls. They are sooo mysterious. Especially the northern White owls, because they remind me of how a ghost looks in a sense..

@ocean88maiden me too, well the females anyways, the female snowy owls are almost all white this is because they need to blend into the snow while protecting their babies. Males are just black and white all over almost like this one.
falcoperegrinus82, Some of the owls were re-introduced to the wild after being injured and rehabilitated. We had to feed a couple owls mice since they needed to relearn how to hunt in the wild again. I'm not about making staged videos.
@CanadaWild I'm doubtful. These owls are easy to bait in winter. You don't "re-teach" rehabilitated owls to hunt after releasing them, either. It's good footage, and not made less by the fact that the shots are staged. Photographers who dislike baiting owls only take that position because they are jealous that they don't know how to get the shots themselves. Don't make excuses for what you do, and say it how it is. Thanks for sharing.
Didn't I see the Snowy Owl's attack footage on National Geographic once? I think they even put them on the front page of the NG magazine at least once.
