When I heard this while shopping the other day in a kind of pop song I didn't like the fact that so many people would never know this in its original form, but in any case it hasn't changed for me- It's still just as beautiful as before, why stress over it. I actually really like avicii's penguin now:)

Its okay to say that Avicii's version is better. Music is completely subjective, but to put down the stuff that inspires the version you like just doesn't make sense. I also said issues, not stupid. Yeah he does have his own version. He didn't just take this audio bit and slap vocals over it. He took the melody and computerized it, for lack of better words. Its a cover version. Not the same definition used conventionally though. This definition is from the 1950s and the segregation of rock n roll.

It's such an outstanding, timeless musical piece. I'm not comparing complexity or anything, but in terms of listenability I can't imagine that it will seem any more dated at that age than Beethoven's 5th seems now. Beautiful.
