Sorry, but you are talking shite. Slavery existed in Russia until the 19th century.
I suggest you look up the word 'kholop', which were Russian slaves. Their master's had unlimited power over their life. They could kill them, sell them or pay their way out of debt with them.
@youebu u r lying . All Siberia is Russian colony . al Asian part . and other. slavery till 1861.Russians thought to be superior to other nations . They didnt want to learn other languages where they lived in USSR.
@martpast1 Living in the USSR Russian HELPED to create other languages of peasant dialects. Russians were always tolerant, and communist sistem forced them to adore any stranger, at least even making them to think that any other culture is more interesting than Russian. Communist internationalism appeared an anti-Russian racism, as well as liberal tolerance.
The 'Russian thought of superiority to other nations' is a schisophrenia of such racist authors like old shitty Fred Foresight.
@Domety its true that at first languages of some nations in USSR were helped and developed (not created--they already existed centuries before). but also some national cultural workers were repressed and killed , because they wanted their countries to be independent or even when they showed to have independent own views.Russians(most of them) lived for 30-40 years in other soviet republics and were ashamed to speak other nation's languages, didn't want even to try. We can hear how some Russians
@martpast1 i'ts true that at first languages of some nations in USSR were helped and developed (not created--they already existed centuries before)' A lot of them were first codificated and even constructed as national languages during the Soviet period, as well as even such nations as Uzbek, Tajik or even Tartar.
'but also some national cultural workers were repressed and killed , because they wanted their countries to be independent or even when they showed to have independent own views'
@martpast1 'also some national cultural workers were killed , because they wanted their countries to be independent or even when they showed to have independent own views' And some of them were merely communist commisioners, killed by other communist commisioners, who killed Russian intellectuals as well.
'Russians(most of them) lived for 30-40 years in other soviet republics and were ashamed to speak other nation's languages, didn't want even to try' They didn't shame, but saw no use of it.
@Domety even now if something is French =its good and beautiful. If You want to see about one very clear and proved Russian aggression--look at history of Tatars in Kazan by their university professor . You 'll see how bad were even old Rus states for them. They were called afterwards Tartars but they were Bulgars on Volga(old relatives to modern Bulgarians on Balkans) and nothing to do with Mongol-Tartars. They never attacked Russians, one time they helped Rus with food when it was starvation.
@martpast1 It would be make a good couple with some book on How the Wicked English Tried to Kill & to Starve to Death All the Saint Irish People. I have read heaps of such trash and know the price of such professors, who have already brought up a new generation who writes about the brave Tartar SS-legionaries. But generally they adore the very thought Tartars are the Real Heers of Chingizkhan. And the brilliant Polish & Ukrainian historians found out that Rus had nothing in common with Russia.
@Domety U are losing Your point of view.we dont know from where came OLD RUS or who was first king, Norman or Slav. Because Your tzars(who were mostly Germans) destroyed old documents. But we know that Russia came from north-east parts of Rus possessions like Novgorod land, Vladimir-Suzdal land. There appeared a little town Moscow and after some time from this place dukes began to invade neighbours . They asked Mongols to give them right to gather taxes from other Rus lands.
@martpast1 LOL! 'GERMAN CZARS' (your favourite Ivan the Terrible, I think) DESTROYED DOCUMENTS to hide something horrible, especially about their ancestors that could have made trouble them in conquering the whole world. It's even more funny than any modern Pole version about the Russian cancer in the brilliant Commonwealth civilization created by noble Poland. I should make a report on this topic.
@martpast1 He often protested and liked scandals. And at least wrote almost just the same that his opponents did. The arguments of the 'normanists' and 'antinormanists' has no final. And there's no political meaning to decide was Ryurik a Sweden or a Slav. Eastern Slavs and Southern Scandinavians had close affairs and a lot of mixed population lived between Novgorod and Kiyev as well in the Southern anclaves of pre-Mongolian Rus.
@martpast1 About usual anti-Russian miths mixed with something incorrect. Russian Empire wasn't more amoral than any great European power. Soviet revolution wasn't a Russian nationalist project, but was strongly antinational and even many of its philanthropical elements were frankly anti-Russian. The raise of Moscow & its conquerance with the neighboughs was natural. The Romanovs weren't conspirators and didn't darknered history, the wars, fires and compared poverty of literary tradition did it.
@martpast1 'but also some national cultural workers were repressed and killed , because they wanted their countries to be independent or even when they showed to have independent own views'
And some of them were merely communist commisioners killed by other communist commisioners, who killed traditional Russian intellectuals as well.
@Domety who became big leaders in some former Sov. republics, they cant speak national languages, they speak funny something in between. Russians were never tolerant , they didnt allow even a thought that other nation may want to leave Soviet Union and have an independent state. They allow culture, yes, they develop art, theatre so on.But always Russian language was dominant , may by 90 %books, newspapers and media were in Russian. also there were allowed national languages but
@martpast1 'they didnt allow even a thought that other nation may want to leave Soviet Union and have an independent state' They didn't allow many thought of what can happen in the Soviet Union. But I think even in Britain not many people wished to loose.
'90 %books, newspapers and media were in Russian' Not more than 70. 'National languages' were formaly used even in the regions, there almost nobody wanted it. Forced 'Ukrainization' of 20-30s failed, saboteered by the common people.
@Domety everywhere Russian was shown and sponsored to be more attractive, they put their people on the most important places in administration of USSR and down in republics.
Communist internationalism appeared as Rusofeels propaganda= as if Russians were the most human, clever, powerful, just nation and as if Lenin was a teacher of mankind.
@martpast1 It would be extremely difficult to rule a state, Russian in general, driving the openly anti-Russian propaganda that half-non-Russian communist dictature used durign the first decades after the revolution. Only Yeltsin's traitors truely think that they can do something openly humiliating their people.
@Domety Russians dont need any propaganda. against or for. if Russians could use their potential(land, resources) properly and have respect and justice for their own people--they would be the richest country in the world. and other nations would want to unite with them without any pressure-as in Euro union.
@martpast1 So I can't see the meaning of agressive anti-Russian diffamation. There's no frames of political correctness for Russian neither in Hollywood, nor in the British press, nor in the liberal 'Russian' media in Russia. Russians are untermenschen, they killed all the mammoths and raped two millions of Parisiennes!
@Domety Russians are not underpeople. They raped mostly nations whom they invaded(see "Hadzhi-Murat" by Leo Tolstoy, very good author , who showed his own people very clear and understandable, even Caucasians agree with him). They raped Germans as a revenge for what Germans did in Russia. Russians are aggressive people (as modern Americans a little bit) , but they try to show themselves as peaceful . They cant rape French because in Russia too long was fashion for all French...
@martpast1 At the same time with 'Hadzhi-Murat' old mad Tolstoy wrote a lot of interesting things about Christian religion, property and family. Caucasian robbers are used to prostitute for public opinion as Gipsy beggars for money. They like those who support them, but sometimes instinctively cut off heads of even theirs.
"They cant rape French because in Russia too long was fashion for all French..."
I never knew it made men impotents, especially after their houses had been destroyed.
@Domety they invaded them one by one , Novgorod and others. long story. and made a state which on the old maps is called Moskovia. But Peter the 1st changed name to Russia, Russian Empire in 18th century . so , who can change this ? also ,Moscov state was sometimes invaded like by Crimean Tatars or Dimitr with some Polish troops and Cossaks who may be was a king may be not. documents are destroyed- by whom? by Romanovs , of course.i think that U agree because there is no other history.
@martpast1 'They invaded' It was a typical story of feodal domen grouth. All the Russian principalities (besides those conquered by Lithuania) were controlled by Ryurik's dinasty. Soverens lost their political independence became Russian aristocrates. The name 'Moscovia' was used in the West only to divide Lithuanian Russians from Moscovian ones. "But Peter the 1st changed name to Russia" The Greek name of Rossia became of use during the whole XVII с. "documents are destroyed" What documents?
@martpast1 Mikhail Romanov was democratically elected in 1613 as a compromise candidate. Dmitry perished in 1591. If he was murdered, he was murdered by the order of czar Boris Godunov. Pseudodimitrius I was killed in 1606, and Ryurik's dynasty member prince Shuysky came to the power, but lost it during the civil war and had no children. The version that 'German Romanovs' destroyed something is proposed by mathematician Fomenko, who rejects all the world history till XVIII с.
@martpast1 The crescent under the cross was often put on the domes of Orthodox churches in Bysantium, Russia and Lithuanian Rus. It means the moon and God's Mother (the cross is the sun and Christ), the boat or the anchor of Salvation, the world sphere and the Here Below Kingdom enlightened by the cross.
I have nothing against democracy, but the very word in Russia is discredited by liberal shock and nihilist attutudes of liberals and free market supporters. It will be hard to advance it so.
@martpast1 16 years old Mikhail Romanov was elected (as Bragansa in Portugal) by Zemsky Sobor (Land Congress) of the estates' representatives, in prefere to some candidates from Ryurik's and Gediminas's families, including Dmitry Pozharsky and Dmitry Trubetskoy, the key military leaders. He had no personal influence. His father, Patriarch Philaret, was imprisoned in Poland and before it for years had been a prisoner in fact, even being proclaimed the Russian Church leader by Pseudodimitrius II.
@martpast1 They were very far relatives of the Moscow (Ivan I) dinasty. They were numerious. Some of them were discredited during the Smuta period. The last attempt to proclaim a Ryurikovich (Ivan Shuysky) as the czar finished as a total catastrophe. Trubetskoy, a Gediminovich, had more practical influence than other candidates.
@Domety other nations dont like Russians for aggressive policy.they also dont like USA, Germany and others if they are aggressive. Russians try to say that they dont invade but help. Russians are stupid --when Stalin made a hell for many Russians--other Russians want Stalin even now, they say that all these Gulags are a lie, that Stalin was practically a Russian and that it was so good because everybody was afraid of us! it was a miserable life but they made films that it was beautiful=total lie
@martpast1 So almost all peoples should be hated for ones were agressive, others were base. Germans have reasons to do not like Poles or Czechs just like visa versa. Russian policy is not agressive any more (though in the Soviet block Russia was in fact the most exploited subject), Russia disarmoured and humiliated itself.
@martpast1 Don't you know how Germans were departed from Silesia, Prussian for centuries, or from their faithful Bohemia? Poles or Czechs had reasons (though quite different) to hate Germans, but their behaviour wasn't even French. "Russians have hearts, Poles have no" - it an explaination on why it was so terrible to have the Soviet occupation garrison changed to a Polish one, my closest friend's father heared from a German citizen. It was a naive statement, but provoked by something real.
@Domety hm--U put things without chronology .tell me when did Poland or Check attack Germany? Prussia was Slavs' country-but mostly German knights made there U know what order.U tell about things after 1945--it was a reactions against German's invasion --and U remember it much better than Poles.20 000 000 people.
@martpast1 Elephants played football with ants. After the game a huge elefant's head looked into the ants's room: "Guys, don't take offence! We didn't want to hurt you!" - "Don't worry, fellow, we also were rude!"
I don't like any sort of maximalism and exaggeration.
@martpast1 'Sent American bombers to help us'. People can vote, but can't regulate the bureaucracy and especially the business. The society is atomised by the ineffective reforms, and the bureaucracy is spoilt by capitalist abilities and weak public control.
@martpast1 In 1991 Dzhugashvili was popular only as an antihero. Than people saw they had been robbed of their country and everything positive and developing in it, of the modest prosperity they had, of the future that during several decades had appeared better than the past. At the same time massive liberal propaganda talked about Stalin in general. Any attempt of social protest was called 'brown & red' or 'Stalinist'. So Stalin got simpathy as 'the guy who is so aweful for these bastards'.
@Domety i understand--but people were not robbed only they didnt do enough to build new country. they simply dont know what to do.and they dont want to do.
@martpast1 They lost their savings, their job or salary level, their social garanteers and the most of life prospectives. They saw their country divided and its property stolen or destroyed. Millions of people died of pure shock. The people's revolt in Moscow was tramped with tanks with the American approval. And now the same shitty 'democrats' cry out: 'We want more liberal reforms and more destalinization! Let's repeat just the same and imprison all the fascists who don't like us!'
@Domety u r strange. if people have right to vote --not as IN USSR --THEY go and vote for their good candidates. if they have no good candidates--they r stupid and u can do with them anything. in the USSR there were only communist candidates--it was not election but dictatorship.
@martpast1 They voted and elected Yeltsin who destroyed the Soviet Union fighting with naive fool Gorbachev for the supreme power and then established a real dictature of liberal economists. The shock therapy annihilated Soviet middle class that had no political experience, but could have got it, if hadn't been thrown into poverty and moral terror. Now I try to create the national opposition to correct the government course, but I see the people are exausted & Yeltsinist elite is resolute.
@Domety U say that other nations do the same. not exactly--Russians do longer and worse. tell me how long were peasants half slaves in Europe --and in Russia?
@martpast1 The serfdom in Germany and Danmark was finally abolished after 1848 revolution, in Russia it was abolished in 1861. Real serfdom in Russia appeared later then in the Western Europe. The most repulsing forms it had during the XVIII с., though the most known examples got resonance just because they were investigated as crimes. On the other hand, Russia never knew the working houses and had more soft criminal law than most of the Western countries.
@Domety sorry, but U speak like U know. i check what U said and i have:"serfdom was de facto ended in France in 1315-1318(king's name),formally abolished in 1789.after the Renaisance, serfdom became increasingly rear in Western Europe but grew strong in Central and Eastern Europe.in England -ended in1574.in Finland,Norway and Sweden -never existed serfdom.in Denmark-only was in 1733-88.so--but U try to show Russia in better light.
@martpast1 Russia can't be England or France. In 1315, for exaple, it was totally tramped down and cut off from Europe. There's no secret in it, just like in that Russian literature is far younger than the French or English ones. 'Central and Eastern Europe' means, first of all, Germany and the whole Austria, where serfdom was totally abolished after the revolution of 1848 (I didn't check the facts for a long time). The serfdom in Russia never spread over more than half of the peasantry.
@Domety U better think about something else. U know how it was with documents in USSR. THEY were secret or disappear .(Ribentrop-Molotov) this Fomenko tells about destroying of OLD documents and false d-ts. now tell me--from nowhere appears Rus ,886-...Rurik...no writing. how is it possible that there is no history and no writing in such a big group of tribes? and no kings. cant U see that something is wrong?
@martpast1 And in France the personal dependence existed for two milleniums. It's impossible to find out a society of early feodalism without serfs or some percent of real slaves. So you could find out that the Scandinavian tradition divides human types to Yarl (earl), Karl (free person) and Trell (slave). The history of North-Eastern Rus and then of Russia is a frontier's one. It was impossible to drive it without a big number of free people, but the wars forced the model of Hobb's Leviathan.
@Domety better speak about Rus--may be they also had all this but where they were? its a serious question. Rus had no writings of old time. but territory is big. who was there? where are old towns or villages? old bones?
@martpast1 Eastern Slavs, partly mixed with Baltian tribes on the West (modern Belarus), Finnish tribes on the East (Novgorod - Suzdal - Murom), Turkic tribes on the South and partly with Scandinavian settlers for the first time. The most old document (a vox book with psalms) is dated about 1000. Several books of the second part of XI were saved. The eldest known chronicle is created about 1100, but includes data since 860 having parallels with foreign chronicle data.
@martpast1 Why not so? The same thing you can see in Scandinavia. There could be neither developed literary tradition, nor a big need in it, but on the South the Greek alphabet could be used and the Cirillic alphabet later, as the runes on the Noth. A Cirillic word on a pot of Х c. is known.
@martpast1 'Russian was shown & sponsored to be more attractive' Russian WAS more attractive and IS STILL attractive, though the Soviet industry of translating was one of the most active of the world. People simply saw that Russian was more complicated in spite of all the pains of national philologists (forced by the government), Russian specialists were more numerous & well-studied and the education in Russian was better. So you can see now that all Europe looks as a victim of AngloSaxon racism

They were called afterwards Tartars but they were Bulgars on Volga(old relatives to modern Bulgarians on Balkans) and nothing to do with Mongol-Tartars. They never attacked Russians, one time they helped Rus with food when it was starvation.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 It would be make a good couple with some book on How the Wicked English Tried to Kill & to Starve to Death All the Saint Irish People. I have read heaps of such trash and know the price of such professors, who have already brought up a new generation who writes about the brave Tartar SS-legionaries. But generally they adore the very thought Tartars are the Real Heers of Chingizkhan. And the brilliant Polish & Ukrainian historians found out that Rus had nothing in common with Russia.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety U are losing Your point of view.we dont know from where came OLD RUS or who was first king, Norman or Slav. Because Your tzars(who were mostly Germans) destroyed old documents. But we know that Russia came from north-east parts of Rus possessions like Novgorod land, Vladimir-Suzdal land. There appeared a little town Moscow and after some time from this place dukes began to invade neighbours . They asked Mongols to give them right to gather taxes from other Rus lands.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 LOL! 'GERMAN CZARS' (your favourite Ivan the Terrible, I think) DESTROYED DOCUMENTS to hide something horrible, especially about their ancestors that could have made trouble them in conquering the whole world. It's even more funny than any modern Pole version about the Russian cancer in the brilliant Commonwealth civilization created by noble Poland. I should make a report on this topic.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety not Ivan--but later--when German "professors " began to write the history of Rus and Lomonosov protested.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 He often protested and liked scandals. And at least wrote almost just the same that his opponents did. The arguments of the 'normanists' and 'antinormanists' has no final. And there's no political meaning to decide was Ryurik a Sweden or a Slav. Eastern Slavs and Southern Scandinavians had close affairs and a lot of mixed population lived between Novgorod and Kiyev as well in the Southern anclaves of pre-Mongolian Rus.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety about what are we arguing ?
martpast1 9 months ago

Domety 9 months ago
@Domety who became big leaders in some former Sov. republics, they cant speak national languages, they speak funny something in between. Russians were never tolerant , they didnt allow even a thought that other nation may want to leave Soviet Union and have an independent state. They allow culture, yes, they develop art, theatre so on.But always Russian language was dominant , may by 90 %books, newspapers and media were in Russian. also there were allowed national languages but
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 'they didnt allow even a thought that other nation may want to leave Soviet Union and have an independent state' They didn't allow many thought of what can happen in the Soviet Union. But I think even in Britain not many people wished to loose.
'90 %books, newspapers and media were in Russian' Not more than 70. 'National languages' were formaly used even in the regions, there almost nobody wanted it. Forced 'Ukrainization' of 20-30s failed, saboteered by the common people.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety everywhere Russian was shown and sponsored to be more attractive, they put their people on the most important places in administration of USSR and down in republics.
Communist internationalism appeared as Rusofeels propaganda= as if Russians were the most human, clever, powerful, just nation and as if Lenin was a teacher of mankind.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 It would be extremely difficult to rule a state, Russian in general, driving the openly anti-Russian propaganda that half-non-Russian communist dictature used durign the first decades after the revolution. Only Yeltsin's traitors truely think that they can do something openly humiliating their people.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety Russians dont need any propaganda. against or for. if Russians could use their potential(land, resources) properly and have respect and justice for their own people--they would be the richest country in the world. and other nations would want to unite with them without any pressure-as in Euro union.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 So I can't see the meaning of agressive anti-Russian diffamation. There's no frames of political correctness for Russian neither in Hollywood, nor in the British press, nor in the liberal 'Russian' media in Russia. Russians are untermenschen, they killed all the mammoths and raped two millions of Parisiennes!
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety Russians are not underpeople. They raped mostly nations whom they invaded(see "Hadzhi-Murat" by Leo Tolstoy, very good author , who showed his own people very clear and understandable, even Caucasians agree with him). They raped Germans as a revenge for what Germans did in Russia. Russians are aggressive people (as modern Americans a little bit) , but they try to show themselves as peaceful . They cant rape French because in Russia too long was fashion for all French...
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 At the same time with 'Hadzhi-Murat' old mad Tolstoy wrote a lot of interesting things about Christian religion, property and family. Caucasian robbers are used to prostitute for public opinion as Gipsy beggars for money. They like those who support them, but sometimes instinctively cut off heads of even theirs.
"They cant rape French because in Russia too long was fashion for all French..."
I never knew it made men impotents, especially after their houses had been destroyed.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety they invaded them one by one , Novgorod and others. long story. and made a state which on the old maps is called Moskovia. But Peter the 1st changed name to Russia, Russian Empire in 18th century . so , who can change this ? also ,Moscov state was sometimes invaded like by Crimean Tatars or Dimitr with some Polish troops and Cossaks who may be was a king may be not. documents are destroyed- by whom? by Romanovs , of course.i think that U agree because there is no other history.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 'They invaded' It was a typical story of feodal domen grouth. All the Russian principalities (besides those conquered by Lithuania) were controlled by Ryurik's dinasty. Soverens lost their political independence became Russian aristocrates. The name 'Moscovia' was used in the West only to divide Lithuanian Russians from Moscovian ones. "But Peter the 1st changed name to Russia" The Greek name of Rossia became of use during the whole XVII с. "documents are destroyed" What documents?
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety documents about DIMITRY AND his time. Romanovs had not rights to be tzars.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 Mikhail Romanov was democratically elected in 1613 as a compromise candidate. Dmitry perished in 1591. If he was murdered, he was murdered by the order of czar Boris Godunov. Pseudodimitrius I was killed in 1606, and Ryurik's dynasty member prince Shuysky came to the power, but lost it during the civil war and had no children. The version that 'German Romanovs' destroyed something is proposed by mathematician Fomenko, who rejects all the world history till XVIII с.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety so--U like democracy? why MANY Russian towns have the moon on their ensign?
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 The crescent under the cross was often put on the domes of Orthodox churches in Bysantium, Russia and Lithuanian Rus. It means the moon and God's Mother (the cross is the sun and Christ), the boat or the anchor of Salvation, the world sphere and the Here Below Kingdom enlightened by the cross.
I have nothing against democracy, but the very word in Russia is discredited by liberal shock and nihilist attutudes of liberals and free market supporters. It will be hard to advance it so.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety i mean that Romanov was elected democratically. i doubt .
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 16 years old Mikhail Romanov was elected (as Bragansa in Portugal) by Zemsky Sobor (Land Congress) of the estates' representatives, in prefere to some candidates from Ryurik's and Gediminas's families, including Dmitry Pozharsky and Dmitry Trubetskoy, the key military leaders. He had no personal influence. His father, Patriarch Philaret, was imprisoned in Poland and before it for years had been a prisoner in fact, even being proclaimed the Russian Church leader by Pseudodimitrius II.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety why not Rurik family? they had the right.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 They were very far relatives of the Moscow (Ivan I) dinasty. They were numerious. Some of them were discredited during the Smuta period. The last attempt to proclaim a Ryurikovich (Ivan Shuysky) as the czar finished as a total catastrophe. Trubetskoy, a Gediminovich, had more practical influence than other candidates.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety other nations dont like Russians for aggressive policy.they also dont like USA, Germany and others if they are aggressive. Russians try to say that they dont invade but help. Russians are stupid --when Stalin made a hell for many Russians--other Russians want Stalin even now, they say that all these Gulags are a lie, that Stalin was practically a Russian and that it was so good because everybody was afraid of us! it was a miserable life but they made films that it was beautiful=total lie
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 So almost all peoples should be hated for ones were agressive, others were base. Germans have reasons to do not like Poles or Czechs just like visa versa. Russian policy is not agressive any more (though in the Soviet block Russia was in fact the most exploited subject), Russia disarmoured and humiliated itself.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety Not so quick. It depends. Show me , please , aggression or something of Poles and Checks against Germany.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 Don't you know how Germans were departed from Silesia, Prussian for centuries, or from their faithful Bohemia? Poles or Czechs had reasons (though quite different) to hate Germans, but their behaviour wasn't even French. "Russians have hearts, Poles have no" - it an explaination on why it was so terrible to have the Soviet occupation garrison changed to a Polish one, my closest friend's father heared from a German citizen. It was a naive statement, but provoked by something real.
Domety 9 months ago

@Domety if somebody doesnt give people opportunity to vote--they sit at home and gather signatures for help to United nATIONS.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 'Sent American bombers to help us'. People can vote, but can't regulate the bureaucracy and especially the business. The society is atomised by the ineffective reforms, and the bureaucracy is spoilt by capitalist abilities and weak public control.
Domety 9 months ago
@martpast1 In 1991 Dzhugashvili was popular only as an antihero. Than people saw they had been robbed of their country and everything positive and developing in it, of the modest prosperity they had, of the future that during several decades had appeared better than the past. At the same time massive liberal propaganda talked about Stalin in general. Any attempt of social protest was called 'brown & red' or 'Stalinist'. So Stalin got simpathy as 'the guy who is so aweful for these bastards'.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety i understand--but people were not robbed only they didnt do enough to build new country. they simply dont know what to do.and they dont want to do.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 They lost their savings, their job or salary level, their social garanteers and the most of life prospectives. They saw their country divided and its property stolen or destroyed. Millions of people died of pure shock. The people's revolt in Moscow was tramped with tanks with the American approval. And now the same shitty 'democrats' cry out: 'We want more liberal reforms and more destalinization! Let's repeat just the same and imprison all the fascists who don't like us!'
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety u r strange. if people have right to vote --not as IN USSR --THEY go and vote for their good candidates. if they have no good candidates--they r stupid and u can do with them anything. in the USSR there were only communist candidates--it was not election but dictatorship.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 They voted and elected Yeltsin who destroyed the Soviet Union fighting with naive fool Gorbachev for the supreme power and then established a real dictature of liberal economists. The shock therapy annihilated Soviet middle class that had no political experience, but could have got it, if hadn't been thrown into poverty and moral terror. Now I try to create the national opposition to correct the government course, but I see the people are exausted & Yeltsinist elite is resolute.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety U say that other nations do the same. not exactly--Russians do longer and worse. tell me how long were peasants half slaves in Europe --and in Russia?
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 The serfdom in Germany and Danmark was finally abolished after 1848 revolution, in Russia it was abolished in 1861. Real serfdom in Russia appeared later then in the Western Europe. The most repulsing forms it had during the XVIII с., though the most known examples got resonance just because they were investigated as crimes. On the other hand, Russia never knew the working houses and had more soft criminal law than most of the Western countries.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety sorry, but U speak like U know. i check what U said and i have:"serfdom was de facto ended in France in 1315-1318(king's name),formally abolished in 1789.after the Renaisance, serfdom became increasingly rear in Western Europe but grew strong in Central and Eastern Europe.in England -ended in1574.in Finland,Norway and Sweden -never existed serfdom.in Denmark-only was in 1733-88.so--but U try to show Russia in better light.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 Russia can't be England or France. In 1315, for exaple, it was totally tramped down and cut off from Europe. There's no secret in it, just like in that Russian literature is far younger than the French or English ones. 'Central and Eastern Europe' means, first of all, Germany and the whole Austria, where serfdom was totally abolished after the revolution of 1848 (I didn't check the facts for a long time). The serfdom in Russia never spread over more than half of the peasantry.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety and U think that in other Europe it spread more than a half.
martpast1 9 months ago
@Domety U better think about something else. U know how it was with documents in USSR. THEY were secret or disappear .(Ribentrop-Molotov) this Fomenko tells about destroying of OLD documents and false d-ts. now tell me--from nowhere appears Rus ,886-...Rurik...no writing. how is it possible that there is no history and no writing in such a big group of tribes? and no kings. cant U see that something is wrong?
martpast1 9 months ago
@Domety do U think that Christians invented writing for Rus? then Rus is pretty stupid.even in Africa 3000 y ago they had it--Rus hadnt.
martpast1 9 months ago
@Domety and--the origins of serfdom in Russia are traced to Kievan Rus in the 11th century.-document="Russkaya Pravda"...so on.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 And in France the personal dependence existed for two milleniums. It's impossible to find out a society of early feodalism without serfs or some percent of real slaves. So you could find out that the Scandinavian tradition divides human types to Yarl (earl), Karl (free person) and Trell (slave). The history of North-Eastern Rus and then of Russia is a frontier's one. It was impossible to drive it without a big number of free people, but the wars forced the model of Hobb's Leviathan.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety better speak about Rus--may be they also had all this but where they were? its a serious question. Rus had no writings of old time. but territory is big. who was there? where are old towns or villages? old bones?
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 Eastern Slavs, partly mixed with Baltian tribes on the West (modern Belarus), Finnish tribes on the East (Novgorod - Suzdal - Murom), Turkic tribes on the South and partly with Scandinavian settlers for the first time. The most old document (a vox book with psalms) is dated about 1000. Several books of the second part of XI were saved. The eldest known chronicle is created about 1100, but includes data since 860 having parallels with foreign chronicle data.
Domety 9 months ago
@Domety BUT --no texts before 900. had they no writings? impossible.
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 Why not so? The same thing you can see in Scandinavia. There could be neither developed literary tradition, nor a big need in it, but on the South the Greek alphabet could be used and the Cirillic alphabet later, as the runes on the Noth. A Cirillic word on a pot of Х c. is known.
Domety 9 months ago
@martpast1 Non-Christian texts in popular languages are vanishingly rare till IX-X cc. even in Romanic countries.
Domety 7 months ago
@Domety dont repeat my text--i see where is the answer
martpast1 9 months ago
@martpast1 'Russian was shown & sponsored to be more attractive' Russian WAS more attractive and IS STILL attractive, though the Soviet industry of translating was one of the most active of the world. People simply saw that Russian was more complicated in spite of all the pains of national philologists (forced by the government), Russian specialists were more numerous & well-studied and the education in Russian was better. So you can see now that all Europe looks as a victim of AngloSaxon racism
