No, literally my cousin haha...thinking about driving to see him in the next couple of weeks...he is definately a breath of fresh air! Haven't seen him in ages.
@charlottemcghee : literally or you mean like your cousin, because he reminds me of my cousin, but he's not my cousin (except by very distant relation presumably).
i know the guy your talking about. man i don't know where he gets the energy. i hope he doen't burn out before he's done. He partially inspired me to embark on my project. you may think its cool. it is a giant killer robot after all, whats not to like.
Thanks for posting this, those videos are great. I just went through the entire Giant Robot series, and even donated some cash for the cause (and a t-shirt). Very cool stuff.
well, I should suppose so, except that thugs might well just steal what they can and destroy the rest, that's their old trick.
Ironically, we need to have a stable society where people can exhert their resources this way, e.g. spending their labor to make the mill and cut the wood, or to fix a car, instead of work at work to pay for those things. Mind you, people already can and will be able to work and pay as well, of course, because you prefer your work to the job you pay for...

When our society implodes into chaos this kind of ingenuity will be selected for once again.

With all that energy he wastes building a useless robot he could be building wells for the Africans.
