  • hey man these are great vids im a pc noob my self working on building a budget gamer pc i wish i had watched your vid befor i fried my first mobo great job cant wait for the next one man!

  • your stupid..... always put your graphic card in the slot closest to the cpu and also for the ram read your manual it will tell you the best way to put them in

  • @TheQuantumGamers apparently "you're" stupid. I'm sorry, I do not own a stupid.

  • i can hear him breathe

  • dude you are so stupid

  • thanks, but i wan't to know what is a little chip on my computer that says intell 4 or something? i thought that was the graphics card?

  • Wow for a pc building noob you did a phenomenal job. You are well articulated, easy to understand, and great at explaining things in detail. Thanks for the lesson and keep up the good work :)

  • should have installed the video card in a different spot..

  • @lucas22490 who cares?

  • nice videos' dont listen to these know it alls.you stated yourself that you are no expert. not bad though. you will get better! thanks

  • @MrDannyGillz no you have to connect the hard drive through a cord to the motherboard and to power supply he just didnt show that

  • Great video^^

  • When I watched this video I didn't like it use sciguys tutorial and it is well explained and I less than 10 minutes

  • you installed your gpu in the wrong slot

  • Nice vid.

  • Good job! Really wish u had a tutorial on the wires

  • Omg they are not "risers" they are "Stand-offs"

  • What was that "shut up" in the background at 3:45?

  • what do I do if the computer says:

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

    PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent.

    ??? Please help ?

  • @darkskull9901 check cable?

  • wrong out graphics card in the wrong slot

  • this video is very good

  • When I say X58 board I mean the Gigabyte usb3 board.

  • I liked how you mentioned the 32 mb of cache on the hard drive.... VERY important.!!!!I am getting ready to build the I7 950 computer and I need a tower that already has the 'set off' brass screws or risers already pre-manufactured and ready for my board. Do you know of a case that is cheap (less than 200 dollars) that comes ready to go for a x58 board?

  • did you use stata 1 2 or 3

  • Dude Thanks for the video! Keep at it.

  • Mad dumb you never put a graphics card in the last slot not just because it has the least ammount of airflow BUT because it doesnt run it at full power but im glad at the end you fixed it good build

  • LOL he didnt even screw down the graphics card noob

  • noob

  • How high of a power supply would I need to run a graphics card like a HD Radeon 5750 smoothly? 500W?

  • Nice job i'm upgrading an old system peice by piece eventually i will have a new system. not the best video but a very good start :).

  • obviously...he didn;t read the manual of the MB...

  • your computer case confuzes me... you either already put the psu in when you installed the hdd or the case came with a psu which usually means its a cheap case but it doesnt look cheap at all unless the casue uses very thin sheet metal

  • your tutorial kinda sucks -_-.... but your like what 15? Benefit of the doubt :/

  • for n00bs who want to use this as a guide: DONT. He did a lot of things wrong, and he skipped attaching all the power cables, the USB cables on the case, and also didnt even show himself attaching the SATA cables to the motherboard

  • awesome 3 vids man, xD you REEEEALLY look like McLovin though :)

    thumbs up if you agree

  • Love the video, great job.

  • wrong slot for the card... ur supposed to use the slot closest to the CPU first then the second slot if ur gonna use SLI or Crossfire

  • Wrong slot for GPU dude....

  • @GODZILLAMANASS ur a dumbass

  • geek

  • @XxXDamirXxX haha you're one of those guys that prowls around for videos that you can negatively comment on, now think hard, whos the one wasting their lives???

  • You put the brackets on backwards for the dvd drive, jesus crist, use the manual

  • Great video, man. Usefull info for someone who has no idea how to build a computer. I like how your Sister or somebody was yelling in the background at the end there. Too funny.

  • i just brought a gigabyte motherboard a;a cooler master atx full case just to get back online i used my amd x 64 cpu and a old psu but thanks for the illustration it came

in handy i have an asus m4a89gtd pro/usb3 that i'll put my phneom IIx6 and

gtx 460 inthat big case. thanks rod523

  • lol the cd drvie rails are backwards heheh

  • Ok bro, tip for you. The way to get the best cable management possible

You put the wires in first, lay them down and use ductape or the plastic cable holders, then you install the Motherboard, it makes it a lot easier if your PSU is modular, so everything can be layed down/taped in first, and then you stick the Motherboard in there, then the PSU and the 24-pin through where you want it to be.

My Antec 300 looks nearly identical to tjharlow's builds, and he uses huge cases. mine's wimpy

  • I thought that your video was informative.

  • Great videos man. I really enjoyed watching you build the computer and everything :) keep up the awesome work!

  • This helped me a lot! i am in the process of building a computer and its been a painstaking process

  • @TheBoeing144 alright i too am planning to build me a old tower this one is goin to have 3 western digital ( 40 gig ) one tape drive a dvd or cd rom and one floppy drive im not sure if the mother board still works i guess when i turn it on ill find out

  • Ty for this it was very helpfull

  • Stop please.

  • Thanks man i just watched your videos because i want to build my own one but i didnt know if i knew every part and where it goes thanks for helping out man

  • how you afford this? how old are you? good job btw

  • @xbesteverx1 Building a good computer is cheaper than buying a stock computer.

  • @BeginingOfTheLast that's not the point though. the parts he used were more expensive than anything i can afford even now, and he could only afford it because it's a family pc so i assume his parents funded alot of it too. however, i thought it was common knowledge that building your own was far better value for money than a stock pc regardless of budget.

  • excellent information and great clarity in your explanation.

  • So how long did it take for you to realise you had the brackets installed on the optical drive backwards?

  • Nice guide!

    10+/10!

  • Hey man, I watched all three of your videos. Nicely done btw. I'm looking to build a new rig myself & these videos helped me to learn how to do so. I'm a noob when it comes to building computers seeings how I've never done it. However, when it comes to fixing them I'm pretty good at that.

Again, nice job and keep up the good work you taught me something. I will be subscribing to you.

  • Dude, your running your card at half the bandwidth by puttin it into the bottom slot

  • good videos man :) gonnna do my first build so anxsuios to see what happens :D

  • Have you been drinking a lot; you sounds like an alcoholic?

  • very nice build fella, good job and cool vids.

  • Wow i badly want this PC right now how much did all the parts cost?

  • you rock man good for first build you did very good my friend

  • @patroll1994 A quality 450w PSU would still run that system with ease. A shit 1000w PSU would crap out after a few minutes. There's alot more to powersupplies then noobs like you know about.

Trust me a good 650w PSU will power most machines unless they are in SLI or Crossfire.

  • Dude do do not put it in the last slot because it runs at 8x/4x bandwidth and has minimal airflow.

  • @ringelos bingo my friend, i was thinking that when i was watching the video.

  • @ringelos at 3:07 he did move the Video card up at the top from the bottom

  • @ringelos whats the end of the video, the card is in the first slot...

  • @You4ver watch* :D

  • What kind of case and what kind of motherbord and gamming card???

  • That is one heck of a PC...I'm so jealous :(

  • ya u shouldnt have had to put the video card on the bottom....no air flow, i recommend putting it in the first slot, but nice build

  • good stuff bro, keep it up :)

  • Nice rig there

  • Your videos were helpful.

  • Great tutorial man. Really helpful.

    Takecare & Thnx

  • I've thought about building my own comp.. after viewing your tutorials I have more confidence in my ability to tackle my first build.

  • Nice Build ;) ... thanks for the instrutions ;)

  • great instruction, thanks

  • great

  • Check out my setup

    .

  • great video :p

  • Thanks for this video!!! Helped me out... But i have a question... When would you use a paste for the heat sink for the CPU?

  • @eagl02 it comes pre applied with the cooler these days :)

  • Great job on the vid. I'm getting ready to put mine together so thanks for putting video up so I can see you do it first!

  • good to see you eventually moved the graphics card up to the first slot

  • Thanks a lot man!

This will really help me. :)

  • Nice vids man, awesome first build with awesome components. Screw everyone talking crap to you, there just trying to bring you down like you said. Thanks for taking time out of your life to post instructional videos to help people.

  • Thanx man that was alot of help :)

  • Comment removed

  • Who did you install the windows system??

  • lmao guess and check with cables on a motherboard! holy hell do you want to fry something! always look t your motherboard manual first and check to see what power cables go where

  • nice!

  • lol he covered the hard drive like there was a cd key on it

dude nice vid. I'm pleased 2 try to build a pc now

  • Nice videos :-)

  • I just wanted to compliment your videos. I watched Part 1 and 2, and I must say I am pleased with them. The visuals were crystal clear, you spoke at a pace that was quite acceptable and quite clearly.

You were informative with step-by-step instructions on what to do. I will certainly subscribe.

Be happy, you're the first person I've subscribed to that isn't anime-based. Again, thank you for the videos.

  • good job m8 :)

  • Nice job, good luck with your system

  • hey man i noticed you put the card in the wrong pci you put it in the third one when you should've put in the first i noticed at the end of the video it was fixed :)

  • ......NERD!!!!!! jk lol this actually helped alot

  • nice video man this a nice instructions on building no I'm pretty sure when people finish building there pc the first thing in their mind is "How da hell do I get windows on this!?" You should make some videos of how to install an OS after build. This video seemed pretty clear about everything. LOL my back up job will be as a technician hey I spend most of free time on it so I don't become a Animator or Cartoon Creator I'll just become a Technician they're well paid. You earned a sub :D

  • your power supply has to much wattage your wasting power

  • Awesome video!

  • you should really put the gpu on the first pci-express x16 slot, the last one runs in x8

  • i was thinking the exact same thing when he did that, i was like "WTF dude that runs at x8!"

  • Dude, you fail. Put your graphics card on the top x16 pci express slot.

  • good vid i wish there was more on wire managment power suply and fan but good video nevertheless.

  • OMG i am so suprized that your a starter, you need more cooling then you can make a overclocking video and keep the componants like buy another one of these grafix cards and put then in raid, the fraim feat will be better and save up for watter cooling and dont buy a pri made one they cost like 2000$ so make one yourself. sorry fot the inglish

  • you did a great job thankyou

but i also wanna know how to connecte system chasis cables to motherboard pls reply

  • haha, lol....he missed the imprtant bit!!!!

ALLWAYS WEAR A GROUNDING WRIST STRAP

unless u wanna kill ur components =/

  • you don't need an anti-static strap. They're for people who don't know how static electricity works. I'm not saying he does. Maybe he has no idea

  • ok, well im not sure what plannet u are from but here on earth static electricity is all around us, as we move we generate electricity, just 200volts is enough to permanently damage a component,!! like i sed in my post, we dont feel that ESD is in us untill we feel a shock say when we touch a door handle which is around 2,000 volts

end of the day, a wrist strap and a grounding mat is the only way to prevent ESD some people wear latex gloves but it does nothing

  • no you dont have too-- you con just touch somthing metal before you touch the motherboard to kill the charge

  • nice one lad it was cool

  • Nice build

  • Great build! Great instruction and component choices! You are a smart kid. Keep up the good work!

  • Nice vids very explanatory and good that you put a conclusion in!

  • Nice, i am going to be building a pc so this really helped me out

  • Good job nice processor

  • Are you reading your info of a fucking card, haha?

  • great job man! Im 23 and i only started knowing how to build a PC about 3 weeks ago. But good job and i think im going to build one too later in the year.

  • Ya helpfull for my first build this week. I would love if u make a video of the power supply and cables installations! But u cudnt so its alright!

  • hey i noticed that u didnt ground ureself..do u think its actualy imporant:S because the other day i took out my ram (it was defective had to ship it back to tigerdirect) and well im worried that i prob dammaged something...but i read some reviews that the posibilty of damaging ure motherboard with static is very very low...

  • no, see ESD can damage any component even if u dont touch the chips or pins cos the electric jumps, when we feel an electric shock passed from person to person, thats bwt 2,000volts. a static charge of only 200volts is suffivient to damage a computer component.

  • Sure you don't mean watts? Cause 2k volts would kill a person.

  • nope, HP IT Essentials I: chapter3:Assembling a Computer, page 181, ESD Precautions

id trust this book cos its the "only authorized textbook for the Cisco Networking Academy Program" i took CISCO at school =/ still got book =/

  • Well, a small light gets lit at about 1,5volt... in school we had one of those batteries conected to our tongue and that hurt quite a bit. In the train lines, whetever they're called, there's 1k volts... which is said to kill you if you stand about one metre away. We saw a documentary about it and all that crap they put you up with in school you know.

There's gotta have been a misunderstanding somewhere :S

  • Lol, it's always nice to read the nice things.

Modular for the PSU means that there are less cables, meaning less messy, right? I'm starting to get scared because I'm building it with an Antec skeleton and I've read that it is really messy and little room for cables. Any help?

  • MSI X58 PRO---two dark Blue PCIE x16 slots (PCI_E2 &PCI_E4) support up to PCIE x16 speed, one Blue PCIE x16 slot(PCI_ E5) supports up to PCIE x4 speed --You are install your video in to the last one--LOL---it supports only x4 SPEED!!!LOL!!!

  • very very thanks very helpful saved me money thanks again god bless

  • dude i would like to point something out, you would be better off moveing ur graphics card to the port further up.

  • nice job kid

  • Im 14 Yrs Old

    I Can Build Gaming COmputer

I have builded for my self!!!!

  • uhh, im 13 and im building my own.

help me out. like when you first boot it up do you have to like go into bios and change the settings to boot from cd/dvd drive to install your os or what?

  • Thanks a lot! ^^ I'll be assembling my gaming/art rig over the next fortnight or so, thank you for the helpful videos! :D

  • Cheers mate very helpfull

  • Wow I'm glad I found another computer guy like you, even though it was your first time it was still pretty informational.

  • Sweet build.. how is it running for you?

  • Very helpful. Just did this build today and it was a success.

  • nice vids

  • Thanks for sharing this nice video. I was waiting to see this for a long time.

    Thanks once again.

  • sweet, wish i was that smart lol, also wish i could afford all that gear

  • great job mate.

i will build my first computer next month. so thanks for tips :)

  • your computer is ''afraid'' jeje, sorry, but if from the Core i7 to the graphics card is pc bro

  • man u good at this man

  • arent you not scared of "static electricity"????

  • yeah

  • @LEFTIE08

Yeah man i agree with you, because the power supply grounds the case and parts so that the static electricity doesn't short them out... for all you people out there follow this advice.

  • so your saying when you wire up your psu it grounds it ??if so does the psu need to be pluged into the wall???i dont have a clue bout this as you can see !!! i would kick myself if i fryed a component :)

  • Yes you plug the PSU into the wall but then turn it to the off setting and your case is grounded, then just touch and unpainted part of the case for about 10 seconds and your static electricity is gone

  • first.. you placed brackets wrong way on dvd unit.. second.. you should put graphic card on 1st pci-e slot or 2nd cuz those are 16x.

  • Hey nice job thanks for uploading this i'm trying to watch every single video i possibly can about how to build a pc as i wanna build my own instead of getting my cousin to build one for me i was just wondering how much did the parts inside your pc cost all together (Not including the case)

  • Thanx m8

  • Man you rock im building a computer too, don't worry about bad comments they probably don't even now how to turn on there computer.

All ways remember the chicks like the popular guys right now, but later they like the smart ones. keep it up, learn as much as you can it will help you later.

  • thanks...good job

  • dude if ur mobo has 3 pci-e slots u put it in the first slot bc if in the last 1 it will run in 8x if in the first 1 it will run in 16x lmao

  • @wwasucks obvi dosent read manuals lol

  • no i dont read them bc i go 2 evga fourms and read. if u do benchmarks u will get higher marks with it in 16x

  • nice job - really practical training

  • I have Intel{R} pentium 4 CPU

    Dell 3000 Ram 1GB

  • Nice Men Good Video.

Can you help me I dont know how much is my Video Card I dont know How much MB Have please message me Or comment me Please Thanks

  • CACHE rules everything around me,

    CREAM,

    get the money.

  • Great video. You are well spoken and present the information in an organized fashion. I have built a couple of PC's myself over the past decade, but it feels like the options & choices today have become alot more complex since my first Pentium MMX build. :o)

I will contact you to get your opinion on a new PC I would like to build.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • beast pc

  • lol...i think i am laughing at u imagining what kinda geek u could be...

  • not really a geek at all

  • anti static protection?

  • really no need, you earth yourself meerly by touching the case. just try not to move ur feet too much, and to touch any of the cards actually faces, just use the edges and corners etc

  • lol @ haters,good source of entertainment

  • lol video card in last slot rullez

  • Great vid, now i know what components i need to create a computer. this really cleared up alot thanks

  • nice vid.

  • thanks

  • my favorite part of build a computer is installing a graphics card onto the mobo :D

  • great video, but why did you put the graphics card to the PCI-e port 3?

  • Is all about the build. If he now the spec he will put in in 1 but he will lost small very small performce but. How care ?

  • nooob
