No if you like tech metal you should check out Spawn of Possession. Either of these songs. Wanna start with badass instrumental beginning? Hidden in Flesh is the way. Awesome from start to end Dirty Priest. And then a fucking masterpiece is Scorched from their newer album along with Dead and Grotesque. Another awesome band that is considered tech but I say they are brutal is Decrepit Birth with their album And Time Begins. Shit is intense. Origin is tight but too repetitive in a way for me.

@MetalReigns2 Nile is one of those bands like Decrepit Birth. I can't really hear the guitar as clear as other bands. I looked up both bands and they say they are Tech and I am like really? I do like Nile though but I never classified them as tech like Necrophagist or Spawn of Possession. I think SoP has the craziest guitars ever though. Their rhythm guitarist is a genius and is behind all the riffs. Their old guitarist Karlsson was pretty beast too at solo's. I play guitar too and I am deaf lol

Tech doesn't have to be like super technical but I thought it did. That's my bad. I always classified Death and Atheist just metal or thrash type metal. But Death is just tops though hands down. @Rumplestilskin732 I had a theory on this. Here goes.. he can split his brain in two. One side is for guitarplaying, the other for lyrics.

Seriously though, the vocals are done in the rhythm of the riffs. If you were a guitarfag, you'd know that it's actually not that hard. It's much worse for let's say Meshuggah or similar. They change the rhythms often and break out of them to start a completely different one. That's why they require a vocalist that doesn't play any further instruments.
