It doesn't sound any louder than my GS, love the sound of the ls3 in the morning with the bi mode valves open.

I added the mild to wild switch, so I could open them at will, I could have saved that money because I never shut them down again.

actually guys the ls9 does sound different than the ls3 because it has a bigger cam and better exhaust and the z06 and zr1 are very close in sound but id have to say i like the zr1 sound better but the 2011 z06s are getting an upgraded exhaust so it should sound pretty amazing.

when you rev it, it sounds ok. The c6 is a bit better and the zr1 even more.

my uncle just picked his up, and it is sad to know that this car in particular is going to a collector that will probably never use its true potential, the 1st day my uncle got his we went on a slow highway cruise and put 500 miles on it before the day was over, he then took it out the next day and was able to bring it up to the red line...this is what these cars are made for, not to sit in a garage and be looked at...if u wanted to do that why not just by a C6?

My friends father has one of these and this video does the tone no justice neither does reving it. When the engine is under load and those valves open up its like an explosion behind your head....amazing
