Farha is such a strange player, especially with his eyeliner and cigarette.
He is always playing poor hands, like the A-rag at 7:45, calls without concern that Dutch has an ace with better kicker, calls allins with K2 not caring that he only draws to one card instead of 2 against a pair.
Reminds me of a hand in Gus Hansen's book during the Aussie Millions when he pushes all in after a reraise from a guy holding ak high while he has a big stack. He wins the hand and it was key to him winning that tournament. The big difference of course, is that he pushed all in rather than calling, this just makes me scratch my head, even if he was right like he was.
Of all the situations where you could go all-in with pocket kings, perhaps you shouldn't pick one where there's an ace on the flop?! Nice donk off Olof...
its interesting how norman chad gives thorson shit for his play. he put his money in with the best hand! it was simply a bad beat. that was probably a good read with how wild vahedi is known to play. so i just look at it as a bad beat.
There was no reason for the chip leader to put 600,000 into a pot with A high. Even if he thought A high was good, at best, it was only a coin flip and at worse he's going up against a set.
It's not a bad beat. It was coin-flip. It was right read but not a bad beat but Vahedi didn't have "nothing". Decisions were made when it was a coin-flip.
It may be a good read, but I really think its a bad call, if you're read is right its a coinflip, if you're wrong you're at best a 3 to 1 underdog. Besides he has enough chips to slide easily into the final table.
I was responding to the original poster of a comment who said it was a bad beat since he put his money in when he was ahead. I agree with you. That's what I was trying to say. Thorson was in no obligation to call with Ace high when he folding is much more profitable and reach the final table. Original poster who I responded to was saying this was a bad beat. But it's not because decisions were at coin-flip because even if he was right, pot could've gone either way. It was unprofitable bad call.
Stupid tiltplay with the kings!

Hello, this is an excellent concept, however it's not optimal. What I discovered which works even better was at roulettecash=org.

wtf are u talking bout..dutch had very little chips it doesnt matter hwo tight farha is you push with 55..you are a moron.
600k went with his instincts and was correct..
as for the queens with ace on board he could easily have not had an ace if he didnt he woulda folded..
just because there is an ace on board doesnt automatically mean someone hit it....
lol@people who dont know poker stating their opinion and looking like fools in the process.
people go with their instincts..
