Halo Theme for marching band!

As a collegiate college student, looking back on High School, I can see how the trumpet part would be difficult for some students, however based on listening, it doesn't sound any higher than a G above the staff, which in reality isn't that hard to hit for an upperclassman.

Playing this for marching band. I'm a senior on clarinet and the triplet part is harder on clarinet than on trumpet. Yes, I can have an opinion because I play trumpet as well. ;)

@Matthewprice123 Really? Lol, I'm only a Freshman and play Trumpet, and I think I could do that pretty easily. We play much harder pieces for Concert Band.

@Tyklan I played it for marching band. There are four different tempo changes and the complex part (aka measure 40) is at 126 with running triplets, very very difficult tongue slurs, and octave jumps. I can tell you that, in comparison to the flutes and clarinets in our band, this was EXTREMELY difficult for us trumpets. And we're not too shabby. It's just difficult to tongue 8th note triplets at 126 while marching.

My 8th grade year we played Halo and I had so much fun playing it, it just felt like I was in the game playing halo. I played clarinet and it really was great and great job too!!

we tried the halo theme last year for concert band... man was it very upsetting when the trumpet section had to sing! lolz i but i like the concert verstion without the singing from the trumpet section the clarinet part was nice.

Yeah, we're marching to it this year and I play Trumpet. It's not nearly as difficult as it sounds. Just takes practice. The hard part'll be memorizing it.

I have to play this to start marching band too. It's difficult. I play tenor saxophone. The part at 30-40 is hard. ( 1:33-2:03) It's really hard. All it is is triplet and it's really fast.
