n96 is the worst nokia phone ever!!!! why??? slow CPU (it has the N73 CPU), awful battery (950 mAh as the N95-1), no 3D graphic acceleration by hardware (like N82 and N95 8GB) and you need bear hands for take it, it's so freakin expensive and it does not worth it, so much better the well-known N95 8GB or N86, but not this piece of shit called N96

This is without doubt the worse phone Nokia have ever dumped on their unsuspecting customers. Woefully underpowered CPU, poor battery life, atrocious buggy software, expensive (and useless) GPS mapping. If you think waiting 20-30 seconds for your contacts list to appear is acceptable, buy it!

Avoid this phone people! I have had my N96 for seven months and if I could throw it back at Nokia, I would.

This will be the last Nokia I will ever buy. Nokia's customer support is basically non-existent.

dont know why your phone was so shit, my battery lasts 2 days ( thats with lots of calls, watching the HD videos, and picture taking, contacts in an instant, only 1 crash witch was part my fault, but the gps mapping, nokia customer support is awsome, when my n95 broke they sent me a new phone out, they were even prepared to give me an n96, just update the firmware....... then the phone is a dream

I don't know what you consider sexy but I love this phone, the reason it's not as small as some of the competiton is that Nokia phones are built to last, it looks like a brick because it's as solid as a brick. I had an n91 for about five years and dropped it on concrete more times than I care to remeber and had no problems with it. I have two friends who have had to send in they're iphones in because they already broke,in less then a year. If you want something that will last buy a Nokia!

- TV Functions is working great It tuns very fast, I had no crashes ( have it for 3months)

The Nokia N96 is the biggest disappointment I have ever experienced with a mobile phone.

It is slow. It frequently crashes/reboots. The voice dialling is lousy, the DVB-H feature does not work here in Australia, and the Nokia Maps GPS is atrocious.

Nokia's customer service is very poor. Two emails via their website have yet to be answered, despite an automated message saying I'd get one!

My advice? Forget this phone. Get a cheaper phone, buy a GPS and an iPod. Trust me, you'll be happier.

GPS, Camera, DVD quality video camera, internet, MSN, Facebook, decent Games (ngage), Very slim with big screen. 16gb! i been upload 10 torrent download movies in this mobile and watchin movie during trips!

This nokia isnt easy to slide up without damaging it with one hand, also when the keypad lights are on you can see how crap the cuts are, and to add to that i only used it for 2 days and its already gone flimsy and if you shake it holding the bottom (shaking it lightly) the top half shakes aswell. If you press the top left of the screen it goes further than supposed to and the D pad lights are a yellow colour. Crap phone (N) stuck in 18 month contract.

How is it the same?? It's slimmer, better flash, 16GB of internal memory, and a whole lot more than the N95. Why would anyone want to wait for the C905??It doesn't even have an OS! You can hardly even customize anything!! Just because it's an 8MP camera phone, doesn't mean it produces great photos. I've seen photos on the web and they are awful. If anything, people should wait for the INNOV8. The camera is amazing and produces better quality videos (VGA 30fps/QVGA 120fps) and has all the specs..
