@cavemantiger All dogs are bred from wolves, some were domesticated 15,000 years, others more recently. Their appearances would have been different to start with depending on the area they came from, and then altered over the generations from selective breeding. Malamutes were only relatively recently domesticated (around 100 years ago), although I'd say, as that puppy has blue eyes, there's a bit of husky in there.
@reddragon105 it does not make it a wolf, in ANY sense of the word. By the way, the Alaskan Malamute is a member of the Spitz group of dogs, traced back 2,000 to 3,000 years ago to the Mahlemuits tribe of Alaska. Not a hundred years ago.
