@AndyCrystalOfficial trust me, I believe you! Cheaper gears may not do as good as a job, but a lot of these devices are heavily inflated! It's a very piece of gear nevertheless!
Besides, it's a mastering equipment, so every Harry, Tom, and Dick shouldn't be looking to purchase this unit.
Again. Thanks for the overview, but I can't believe you don't play any audio through the unit to let people hear what it's doing! It's set up in the studio, it's on, it's got audio playing through it, you are an "expert" user...but you don't let us hear it. We would love to hear it. A single guitar or vocal track maybe?
@dana6156 Fair point, but Youtube's data compression always DESTROYS audio. With a unit like the Shadow Hills comp it's a joke trying listening to it on Youtube at all.

The prices of a good studio vary here from ± $400- $900 a day (and always negociable), and then you have @ least a Neumann U87, good pre-amps, and conversion.
This compressor is built for top segment recording/mixing/post-pro studio's, but you can also aquire a Shadow Hills compressor for the API lunchbox system for
@Tonyp68 No doubt. I have a Scully 280-8. And a Linux box running Ardour. I have everything I will ever need with my plug-ins (about 200) in one snag. Then I master it to tape, send it to mastering guy for 50 bucks and its done and ready for printing.
there are enough books to fill a entire room for what you just requested... start reading books, or al least wikipedia... another GREAT site would be "tweakheadz"... just use google and search for it! and READ! it takes years to be any good... so don't expect to be a "wonder" ovenight!
Im going to build a bigger one that takes 2 hands to turn each knob...

@AndyCrystalOfficial
you don't need to be a smart boy to understand that you can buy a Berhinger preamp and a NEVE AMS preamp
and you will get a preamp in bowth situations but in diferent level of a product for itsef.............

@AndyCrystalOfficial
you just don't understand a thing in electronics.

Sell all your Behringer gear and purchase some clean circuit gear, entry level stuff. i.e. mackie....or get an apogee duet.
peas.

I second that.
In addition: Educate yourself before randomly buying stuff not knowing what it does and/or how to connect it.

DO NOT SELL THOSE BEHRINGER!!! THROW IT AWAY!!!
And this Audiophile card too!
And go to a decent studio with a good singing booth to record your vox.
