This song actually IS a cover of "requiem for a tower" by Clint Mansell, but still its very good indeed

the song is calles "requiem for a dream" and was made by clint mansell for the film also named "requiem for a dream" (very good film by the way)

requiem for a tower is also a remake of this original version (as far as I know it was made for the lotr trailer)
