the beach at 0:50 is in on the south coast of Rethymno, next to Damnoni Beach. It' s a nudist beach called Ammoudaki.

If you go you will certainly enjoy it.

@Twoosy Is not true. It depends the beach, the island and the area. In general aegean sea is quite warm, but also very refreshing for hot summers! Ionian sea (western islands) and lybian sea (south of crete) is deeper and colder. Some island (like kalymnos) have cold sea, while the neigboring island (like kos) have very hot sea.

I live in Heraklion and in January and February it's usually 16 degrees. At night it's usually 9 degrees.

Jan is a very mixed month 12 degrees on day 18 the next, frequent rain from Jan through to March. The coldest month is Feb temps between 8-15 degrees though you do get the occasional warm day .

I was just there and it was between 50 and 70 F for ten days. I think it can get colder and rainy but it was beautiful.

Superb photos. Thank you sharing them with us! Do you know the name of the beach at 1:50, it looks as if it was made of a single stone. I have seen the photo of that beach before but I could not find it's name. We are about to go there in a months time, I am glad the landscape there is so beautiful.
