I'm sorry, but I cringed when I heard this version - what an embarrassment. Great voice but the variations were not necessary. Especially when you know the AB's and supporters would be singing as well. Keep it real - K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Stupid.

I think she really stuffed up our national anthem. Beautiful voice, but no respect at all for what she was singing. It's like she was trying turn it into a pop song, but she forgot the circumstances in which this beautiful song was written.

Hi...I Didn't forget the circumstances at all and have absolute respect for our anthem, otherwise I would not have agreed to sing it!! Its so disheartning when people make these harsh comments without any knowlege of what was perhaps asked of me!!

I was asked to sing the anthem in an a capela style and to add a bit of oomph to it... Ofcourse Im not gonna please everyone, but jeez, give a girl a break!!

personally i dont think people should change up the anthem when people are singing along. its breaks up the cohesion, but it was alright. try listening to jojo singing the us national anthen, she was like 15 and AWESOME!
